LOL it is just all so confusing, sorry if im being thick, but what i dont understand is, why cant i connect 1 sub and 1 speakers to CH1 and 1 sub n 1 speaker to CH2, cause then it would use less power as each channel would have 200W sub + 120W speaker=320W, rather then 2x120w speakers=240 on channel 1 and 2x200W subs=400 watts on channel 2....? but the epx3000 really is looking to be the best option, and ive searched the RMS and aparently its 500W each channel at 8 ohms

As I will be doing house parties for teenagers like myself I don't think anyone will notice the stereo or mono, the epx3000 is also a cheaper option, and even though the cheaper option got me screwed over I've still gotta stcik with it lol so if your sure the epx3000 will be perfect for my 4 speakers then I may have to go with it....

what if i was to put 1 sub and 1 speaker into CH1 and 1 and 1 into CH2 or the speakers running off the standard connections and the sub running off 1/4"? would that retain the stereo? ahh its all so confusing lol

so better off getting 2 amps? so its not as simple as wiring the speakers to CH2 and subs to CH1? That amp has a built in crossover, as do my subs.... before pill linked that amp i was thinking these SUBs amp: http://www.djwarehouse.com.au/sound/amp ... order.html Speakers Amp: http://www.djwarehouse.com.au/sound/amp ... order.html but it is a little more expensive, not sure if i would be better off with the 1 amp now... from the reviews ive read the behringers seem pretty reliable so what your saying is, besides the not having a back-up amp reason, all i would be loosing is vocals coming from 1 speakers,instead it will come from both....? correct?

researching i have found this "When you connect two 8 ohm speakers together in parallel it brings it down to 4 ohms.. You take the positive wires from 2 diff speakers and connect them to 1 of the positive connections on your amp, then you take the 2 negative wires from your speakers and connect them to 1 negative connection on your amp. And then you do the same for the second channel. So with a 2 channel 4 ohm amp you can hook up 2 sets of 2 8ohm speakers." is that correct? fuck i hope so cause that will power all my speakers fine then yes?

pill, how come that amp only has the watt ratings at 2omhs and 4 ohms....no 8ohms? all 4 speakers are 8ohms....does that mean it cant run them? and would it put any stress on the amp running the 2 speakers off channel 2 and the 2 subs off channel 1? because id rather have 1 amp powerful enough to power my whole set, rather then 1 amp for speakers and 1 amp for subs

so if you saw 1 of my previous threads about DJ city fucking me around, well the shit amp they sent was picked up and i got a replacement, well the replacement arrived today and i hooked it all up, and to my surprise, something is fucked with channel B on the back of the amp, its makes the speakers distort have switched the speakers from channel to channel and it still only distorts from channel B thus making it not the speakers fault so ive decided FUCK YOU DJ CITY I WANT A REFUND!!!! and iam going to "try" and get that today, and then hopefully get another amp elsewere as sad as it is to say, all this getting fucked over is turning me off DJing, but im still hanging in there, i love it, but sometimes its bullshit LOL if anyone has a good online site for amps link me or if you have any idea's on what i should get let me know, this is what i need to run 2x120W RMS speakers ---| .........................................| 8ohms for both 2x200W RMS 15" subs ---| budget is about $600 on amp/amps thanks in advance

gigs will be house party's only for a while, playing pop and house music that is my main reason yes, i cant afford pioneer etc, just trying to get the best i can on a small budget lol

Ok well how about that amp for the sub or subs if I get a second, because it wattage is more then my speakers but only just less then my sub, and I will try and get a new amp for the speakers? That would be the better option yeh? Just hope 175w on a 200w sub will b enough

it it possible and sensible to use a cars amplifier to use as an amp for my sub/subs?(eg pioneer alpine etc etc, that u get from any auto store) sorry if it sounds dumb but i meen whats the difference between a Pro DJ amp and these amps? thanks in advance

Ok will read threw the manuals, I don't know much about the ohms but I think all 3 speakers are 8ohms, hope the amp can take it, don't really have any money for a second amp lol

sorry but what is bridge mode the sub specs say "passive built in crossover" does that help at all?

i know but in excitment ive allready bought the sub, it was just a deal i could pass up, but im sure someone will give help this forums been good to me lol

Update:The sub should have your standard lead outputs as well as the 1/4 inch jacks....yeh? No posts as of yet , but would this work, (:WARNING: do not strain your eye's, very technical!) speakers running as if normal, positive sub lead into positive B, negative sub lead into negative A, so that the sub would steal some wattage from each channel rather then running the speakers off 1 channel and sub off the other

this isnt so much a repost, but on a similar topic as my previous thread so i am shouting out to all the speaker and amp experts on the site i have two 120w speakers and a 2x175w amp, but i am now thinking about getting a 15" 200w sub, my dilemma is how to connect the sub to the amp... update : courier will be picking up the amp and my hercules, and getting them both replaced at their cost, i hassled for next day mail but aparently not possible, still pissed off but happy i am getting a new midi controller that doesnt rattle and an amp thats actually new but now its gonna be like 2 weeks (my guess) before i get my stuff after i get my shit back i will probs be staying away from DJ city

nope, brand new, full price, am on hold with them now, manager starts at 11am, calling back for him, have spoken to a bloke about getting next day mail as i was hoping to use the amp at a mates place this satdy will see what i can get done about my midi controller rattle will update !

so as many of you know ive been waiting for some gear in the mail, but for some reason technology loves to fuck with me, The amp i have been waiting for from the Melbourne DJ City stores arrived this morning, im ecstatic and open the box to see a repair invoice taped to the top saying "returned about 2 weks ago broken, wont run properly and 1 speaker input has low volume, smoke smell after running" and then a small list of specs that needed to be repaired. WHAT THE FUCK! so i thought ok ill see if it works......will not even turn on! i will be calling them in half an hour and raging when my midi controller came from them it had a rattle as well sorry but i needed to vent with ppl who actually know what im talking about have you ever been screwed by a store?

I have a 1000w strobe, green+red lasers,a smoke machine, and a moonflower light all on their way, all from eBay for about 160, epic deal? No lighting rig yet though
