wow that is some hectic shit thats way past my skill level, but pretty dam interesting, and id hate to playing at a venue and had something explode and take off 3 heads, may ruin the Dfloor....may not....

With the speakers on the table they sit about head height, with them on the subs about just above should height, stands is money I again just don't have, I'm actually looking to find a certain rod because my sub have a speaker stand/rod hole on the top but my normal speakers don't have the hole on the bottom for any rod or stand so how I could do that I don't know, unless I get your newer style PA speakers with the built in stand hole's lol

Ive just got a 1.8m tressle table because it's easily portable, and was just going sit 1 speaker on top of 1 sub on the left and the same on the right(on the ground), but after thinking about it the other day, if my speakers are behind me and the table at least they can't get kicked/knocked or drinks spilled on them, but if it's also better for the sound, heck why not, may even go 2 speakers on the ends of the table if it's stable enough and the subs stacked behind me in the middle

i didnt get a chance before it crashed as i was still puting minor things onto it, but have done it since the rebuild lol

4 days after buying my new/current laptop it crashed cause my 64 bit just fizzled out and wouldnt reboot, had just finished putting 250 gig worth of random stuff and just installed every program i would need, all lost, had to start from scratch lol

Yeh sounds good to me, Will go with the neutron plugs, and will need about 2m of lead each side from where it meets into the single speakonif that makes sense,will have single speaking connected to amp on the table, then 1 sub on the left about 1,5 metres away and 1 on the right about 1.5 away, and yeh if it's around $50-$60 I'm happy ur a fuckin champion! Will there be any issues with the amount of current/power being put out because it's outputing into 1 lead then splitting for 2 subs?

Yeh that would be awsome thanks pill, but I will probly need 2-3 metres between where the 2 leads connect to 1 because the subs will be kinda far apart,is that ok? thanks heaps, I couldn't even find out if I needed male or female speakons lol

LOL chances of being able to do this when ive never made a lead in my life?

so is there going to be anyway to connect the subs to just 1 channel with the speakon leads? like is there such a thing as a 2 speakons that run into a single speakon to connect to 1 channel?

sorry if im being a hassle, but ive actually got a slight case of obsessive compulsive lol, i have to know everything about what i buying basicly... but while looking over the pics and specs i found this on the right side under crossover and stereo or mono mode it says limiter, does that meen it has a built in limiter i can take advantage of? and i am going to have to run 1 sub and 1 speaker off each channel because i cant connect 2 subs to 1 channel with the speakon leads can i?

Ok good I was freeking thinking I won't be able to connect the subs to the amp lol, on the back of the amp where it has the 1/4" input 1 and 2 that just works the same as ch1 and 2 for speaker wire inputs yeh? Then how do I make it so both subs are on channel 2? Ok sweet, will have a look at limiters

shit, where do i get a limiter from? also have a new problem, the subs arrived half hour ago, and they only have these connectiong, 1/4" jacks i think.... does this cause me a problem? All 4 speakers:

yeh thats what i meant, they wont be over powered unless i turn the volume up 2 much, plus with the epx3000 if i have extra power left over on 1 channel i can always get a third speaker and connect parallel making it 2.7 ohms, or a forth making in 2ohms, and possibly enough left over on the subs channel to add 1 more speakers, but then i may have to series/parallel connect, but i dont have to worry about that now i was up most of the night researching LOL

have rang storeDJ and told him whats going on and asked about the epx3000, he said it may be over powering the jaycar speakers and could damage them and i may be better off with the epx2000.... but wont they only be over powered if i over power them?

thats ok they arent $1000 dollar speakers or anything so i dont expect a massive club sound or anything lol ok have just bought all that stuff CBG, will let you know how i go

so what that does it adjust how much low frequencies are being sent to the sub and how much med n high being sent the speakers correct? but are u saying its worth getting for more overall control on the jaycar speakers?, because with the amps built in crossover and the subs built in crossover they wouldnt really need it would they...?

i would still want some bass coming from the jaycar speakers as they dont give off a rumble and long bass like subs do, just the initial pop/drop of the bass, and they dont give off that much at that but yeh actually that does make sense, and with the 1 sub 1 speaker per channel set up when the speakers are at max the sub wont be even close i guess if 1 channel is running 240 watts (speakers) and channel 2 running 400 (subs) is their any risk of channel 2 having more stress and wearing out fast or anything?

BCATID=605 k well if it will work either way i can mess around and find the best sounding set up, i just thought with 1 sub n 1 speaker needing less watts then the amp would have less stress and more room to breath with more reserve power lol thanks heaps dude, have tried giving plus rep but it says i cant give more rep then i have lol
