Hey all. Just thought I'd ask the question. What Brissy Clubs do u frequent?? And Why?? I'm sick of the usual "Family" and "MET". Cause I'm sick of the same music all the time. Except for a special event it alwas seams like the same thing. Thinking of hitting up "Electric Playground" (Formaly "Planet Nightclub") for something different next time I'm out.

Hmmm I will admit i used to be part of the problem. That being that most people dont actually recognise "Good Music"....Its only when you have to step up n do it yourself that you truely relise how much time effort and skill goes into makeing one simple seamless mix. Let alone an hour or more of a clean well played set. As most guys on here know there are so many club DJs that use so many effects that anyone could do it. Anyway Im with eggssell in that i give my respect to the ADJF users that do it right. (In a Sense)

Yo Cube....Just an idea that from what a few car forums use... Print out the ADJF logo etc on a business card....that way u can just walk up n be like here...instead of interupting.

Hey all. Names Matt. Just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm very new to the DJ world. Been into the whole music scene for ages and wanted my own setup for ages but only just got the spare money to get started. So far I've got myself a Hercules RMX to learn on. New Speakers soon. Then once I get the feel for things will progress on to other gear. O and don't worry, I am trying my hardest to practice "Beat Matching" without looking at the BPM etc. on Virtual DJ. Lol. As I don't want to be just another Noob who thinks he can but really can't. Lol

Thanks for the replys. At the mo I'm just running through a Sony Stereo. But it deffs can't cope...cause I like to play loud Was mainly leaning toward powered speakers. Cause I can then obviously use them to play parties. Hey Guys and Girls As the title says I need some recomendations on Powered Speakers or Powered Studio Moniters. At the moment I'm just a beginer bedroom DJ but once I get some skills up will progress to playing for mates at parties etc. I will be running from a Hercules RMX. And am undecided as to wether I should go for 2 Powered Speakers or 2 Studio Speakers. I want to go powered as it obviously keeps the costs down cause I don't have to buy a separate amp. I will be playing mainly House/electro/dance music. And am aiming at spending aprox. $600-$700 but a bit extra is alright. All Advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks Mattye
