Uninstalling Native Instruments

I've just about finished upgrading my laptop but I have an issue, some of my plugins (mostly NI) don't work anymore. I'm not worried about this because I'm going to be installing KU9 anyway. So, my question is, whats the best way to uninstall all of it? Do I just basically get the NI folder with the instruments and plugins in it and throw it into the trash can or is there a special way of doing this?
