Ultimate Newbie question

so as i have been finding songs i often find the words bootleg, rework, remix, edit and a few others

im gonna swallow all my pride and ask, whats the difference between all them?

i kinda feel that this is info i kinda should know ey

Remix = Using stems of the original to create a new tune, with your own vibe.

Bootleg = Pretty much the same as a remix, but without the stems, just cutting up the song as a whole.

Rework/Edit = Slightly changing an original to make it better or more club friendly, usually just changing structure and drum pattern.

I always though bootleg meant it wasnt an official release
