Recent downtime

We have been plagued with downtime lately (due to web host) but it hasn't just been ADJF. It was every site on the shared server we are hosted on.

I have received this from the web host regarding these issues and the rectifying of them:

We will be performing server migrations this weekend for all customers hosted on our Australian servers to address the issues of late.

The migrations are being undertaken to address a lot of the downtime we've had recently, we've been working hard behind the scenes to test and build out our new virtualized platform which will power our new virtual hosting servers.

We are looking to migrate all customers across to new servers this Sunday.

There is expected to be some downtime during this period, unfortunately this is unavoidable as we have large amounts of data to transfer between the old servers and new virtual servers on our new platform.

We will try and ensure the downtime is kept to a minimum, we'll be posting regular updates on Twitter and Facebook for updates on transfer statuses.

Surprised they aren't running virtual servers already, everywhere else already has them
