  1. wow! this was the style of mix I was planning to do! great work man, that will go down well with the older (40+) folks
  2. this and welcome!
  3. You could always get a newmark one for $60
  4. It does look awesome, however, it clashes with every background I try to upload :/
  5. Alright man, just called the guy, its still available. we still on for this deal? edit: oh, one more condition, if you obtain an audio4 or scratch duo you wish to sell, you sell it to me for a good price.
  6. Hey guys, im currently working on my website and need some help http://fenixaustralia.blogspot.com/ that there is the default theme (with the stock photo's) There are two things I want to remove, but I cant find it in the code. 1. The slightly see though bar up the top 2. The Fenix in the top left corner This is mainly because my background already says fenix, and the bar looks horrible going over any of my pics: heres the XML http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HI67RV5F any help would be greatly appreciated
  7. il call him today first and ask if its still avalible
  8. Should be fine, as long as you pay postage
  9. ^ unfortunately when Im mobiling, I have to have an assload of songs (over 1k) ready for requests. Prehaps its just better to wait for another scratch duo and thanks mitch, the best way to do it would be your way of 1 track + all it's remixes per cd. Problem is that it would be cheaper to buy a scratch setup than all the cd's. Thats why I was going to go with the 10 tracks per cd option
  10. Im sorry if ive already created a topic about this
  11. Ok, I was about to purchase scratch duo second hand for $200 but it fell through. Ive been thinking though, is it worth me even getting it? you have your songs listed by artist A to Z for this example you burn a cd with artist A and artist C, but then you find an artist B. Do you re burn the cd or...? people might say just only have A on one cd, but repeat the above method with AA AB and AC so whats your opinion? or should I just wait for another traktor scratch to pop up?
  12. Those are quite nice units, might get some once I Finnish my audio setup. if anyone is still wanting one http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/LED-RGB-Part ... 1c16e14f4f
  13. Ok, the mdex Its fairly sturdy (as far as plastic goes) and it does the basics, but don't expect any more than that. There alright for house party's, but thats pushing it, it also has pitch issues so beat matching with it is near impossible. It seems like a good all in one, but it is one of the most basic controllers on the market. I wish I had decided on a mixtrack pro instead
  14. Djm 400, I can go check it out if anyone wants it $350 http://sa.gumtree.com.au/c-Stuff-for-Sa ... Z315387573
  15. Cdj's imo. if your looking to get into clubs its better to give yourself the best transition to there equipment. However, you could grab a mixtrack pro or mdex3 (yes I know) and see if you like it or not. thats what I did, then I upgraded to cdj 800 mk1's
  16. Good point and ive just found someone selling the x1 + special bag for $200 in Adelaide
  17. Pretty much, All I need is two knobs
  18. Hey guys, you know the two knobs on the kontrol x1 that let you chose what track without touching your lappy well, does anyone know of a cheap controller that would be good to map it too?
  19. Hey guys, so when using traktor, is it more ram or cpu hungry? or a mix of both such as ram for playback and cpu for effects. Thanks guys!
  20. a Friend got me to play at his gf's 16th however one week to go they broke up, but they still got me to play which was chill When they got there they where impressed with my gear alot, and everyone started arriving round 6pm. Ended up getting shut down at 2am but overall it was a fantastic night.
  21. I still don't understand your need to upgrade so soon, but whatever floats your boat I guess. just keep an eye on gumtree or ebay
  22. Check out gumtree too man, should be able to pick up a second hand one quite cheep and make sure you do the "mixtrack pro +gumtree" search to look in all states, most people are willing to ship to you. also, out of curiosity, you looking at playing in clubs or house party's?
  23. average, but the quality makes up for it.
  24. ^ id love too! but that was there last pair, and I had to barter for 2 days to get em that cheap. If you really want em you can get good fakes from deals extreme for $62 I still hate them, but only because of the shit value for money, and the hype and yeh, there quite sturdy, and sound just as good as the real ones. However there's been some issues with the real ones hinges breaking, so ive put some electrical tape around em to prevent it.
