Hey guys, if your two cdj's are hooked up to an audio 4 and it isn't on. Does it play it though to the mixer as if the audio 4 was a double female rca cable?

All in one roadcases or individual?

That mixer is awesome! but unfortunatly it doesent have a mic input :C I can just hook my mic direct into one of my speakers though I spose.

^ good point. Thanks oh how I long for dedicated filters. I hate the ones that automaticly turn up and down, when I played with a 700 (dident realise the filter above it) I couldent turn it off! anyone know how to stop it from auto going from min to max?

^ mmhm also, after get down by paul johnston, where it starts the masive build up in the second half of the song. Just as it hits the peak il flick over (beatmatched of course) to punkass (sydney samson remix) at the end of its buildup and goes into the main beat. Its a little bit of an experemental transision, but its good to try new things.

Just wondering though... are there roadcases for the bigger cdj's that only have room for the smaller mixers? I really hate having room between the cdj and the mixer.

Hey guys, If I were to get a cdj setup? what mixer should I get? I was looking along the lines of a xone 42 or a djm 600 (or 700 if I can get one cheap) I know I want a 4 channel, that way I can have my ipod classic with all my music on it loaded on a sep deck for requests. I was thinking prehaps a xone 42 cause of the dedicated filters (im not going to molest them) just use them to create a build up during parts of a mix + a chance to get fammiliar with allen and heath mixers, they pop up alot in photo's of dj's alot.

Also, im going to add the satasfaction tempteture remix somewhere along the lines too.

HOPE, plugged it in this morning to find that it indicates when its charging. It did not do that before!!!! When I get home monday il clean it within an inch of its life with some alcohol based spray.

Just letting you guys know, theres going to be a delay on me upgrading. Last night I was carrying a milkshake to the couch, on the way there the dog walked infront of me and I tripped over her. Milkshake landed on my macbook, and yeh. Spent all today cleaning it out, but no luck im doing the responsible thing and paying the excess from the insurance, so Im going to be about $400 out of pocket. so im -$400 away from a cdj 800 djm 700 setup :/

Il record my mix on video so even if it sounds average, you can see im putting 100% into it

Does it have to be a set genre all the way though? or can it start with electro and end with dubstep? as long as its blended gradually and well that is
