  1. At train station hnnng
  2. This is at the bottom of every page I'm sure you can figure out what to do
  3. All of the speakers / subs you hire are active - they don't need any extra amps. They all just plug into standard AC power. When you hire - you should receive everything you need to plug everything in and off you go
  4. I would advise to just play songs that don't have swearing in them to start with - such as clean radio edits as Sol suggested
  5. What computer and software are you using with this? The following would be handy PC/Mac OS version (e.g. Windows 7 SP1 64-bit, Mac OS X 10.8.2) Version of the DJ software you are trying to use. screenshot of audio preference / routing screens in the DJ software you are using This will allow us to help you. Also, feel free to post in the introductions section so everyone can say hi
  6. I just finished work. Now to prepare / pack for tomorrow mornings bus/flight
  7. Some notes on tracks: -Being a school event, need to be careful with language in tracks -Have a lot more music than you need -Have a wide variety of music
  8. Your money is practically wasted on those speakers - not very adequate for any task. I'd stick with your original idea
  9. That would probably do the trick - however i'd call them and explain you are using RCA out from your mixtrack pro as they will probably supply you with the required cables as part of the hire

  11. Mixtrack pro only has RCA out so you'll probably two of these: PS there is two 140 dollar packs, not sure which one you're getting

  13. As Gremmis said, there is likely people who are interested, however need a location and list of requirements, as well as a contact so people know where to get in touch. Also a link to your website & facebook would be advisable.
  14. GREMMIS, I have been thinking about an ADJF podcast idea for a few months now (basically the whole year) Still figuring out how to go about it exactly and getting technicals down - however there is the user participation side of it, which we haven't really seen enough of with the radio to know if this would work or not. EDIT: Gremmis I also already know how to code the XML to get a proper podcast to show up in iTunes. I like the idea of 1 podcast a month, featuring a different artist and possibly me/the artist/someone doing a short vocal intro or something for it then mostly mixing. I'm going to have a bit more of a think then there may be a thread in the near future for some user participation

    Dead PC

You could game on a macbook pro, however for the price if you aren't going to use the Mac OS at all, you could get a different brand and have better specs for the price. as for the no beeps - proper dead motherboard = no beeps also dead cpu there won't be beeps as there is nothing to process the beeps if the CPU is dead, so I can't 100% tell you which one it is. Multiple vendors sell some decent machines atm.. however it probably is cheaper to do a MB+CPU refresh of your desktop (possibly even RAM too) providing you have already invested the money in the other components
  16. As long as the hdd isn't dead you're sweet - might not even have to reformat/reinstall. however that is another topic
  17. When you make cue points it saves it for that song, regardless of what playlist it is in. You can delete the playlist and the cue points will still stay on that track as long as you don't delete it from the collection tab / import a duplicate again (as the duplicate version won't have the cue points). So when your changing playlists -> drag your existing tracks from the collection view into the desired playlists and you'll be sweet (note you can't change the files location on your hdd once in rekordbox otherwise you either need to manually retell rekordbox where the file is saved - pain in the arse; or reimport it - and you'll lost hot cues) Hope that makes sense

    Dead PC

Have you tried with only CPU, CPU fan, RAM and mobo plugged in and only a monitor plugged into the back -> everything else unplugged. If that doesn't work sounds like dead cpu or mobo. Have a close inspection over the motherboard for anything that may have burnt/shorted out
  19. No, it's this one: http://www.amazon.com/Numark-DJ-Multi-C ... pd_cp_MI_0 See how it has the RCA output, as well as the headphone output on the other side? That is what you're after
  20. Any suggestions to help the site grow are appreciate it. New members are always welcome - however we do like to keep it a community site where people care, instead of one full of wankers (won't mention any other dj forums names).
