If everyones liking it man I wouldnt bother, the owner wants the most people they can on the floor to earn their money and build up their reputation not to just please one person. If worst comes to worst ask her for a suggestion and pretend that you played it whilst she was gone. Usually them kind of people are never happy and theres no point wasting your time on them as if you do one request from them they'll just keep hassling you anyway and if something goes wrong then its your fault, never theirs haha

Hey guys, Heaps keen to do a collab sometime with someone, currently living in Sydney so am more central now haha I use Ableton so another Ableton user would be preferable and also looking for rappers as well to put some vocals over my tracks or work with to create tracks for them. My influences are people like Pretty Lights, Griz, James Blake, Ta-ku, Manic Focus etc but love exploring new genres and ideas and comin up with original stuff. Hey man, Yeah definitely is like that, even the promotors have connections with other promoters and team up. Not really looking at doing massive dj gigs though anyway just as you said, a cool pub or bar would be ace. It's just finding one haha Cheers though

So just kind of chucking this out there but I have a heap of lighting equipment along with a 18in sub and a Canon 600D camera and was wondering if anyone would be keen on running events and want to team up or something? I use to run events down the coast but up here in Sydney I have no idea where to start along with venues and also the promoting. Been trying to get dj gigs up here for awhile and not getting very far haha the ideal kind of setup id like is to find a venue and setup all the lights and sub permanently and then every week or two weeks have a lineup of djs playing. If anyone has close contact with a "not so famous" venue and is keen let me know The event I use to run was called Wicked and here's one of the videos I made for it edit by Mitch: fixed youtube link
