Don't really have to touch the laptop much when I'm working on tunes. Mostly using the keyboard so having to reach a bit to laptop isn't too bad. Although I do admit it's not ideal.

I've only had a few hours using then last night and I think they're excellent.

The weight reduces vibration and thus improves sound quality. Really helps with the low end but gives everything a bit too f a richer sound. Also good for any records that are slightly warped (obviously not going to work on severely warped ones) to help hold them in place. Same goes for lighter records which can sometime spin very easily when trying to give them a nudge. This will firm them up

Aye it's the best mixer I've ever used. Love them. Gonna mess about with the midi capabilities and get the drum machine hooked up for some live jams/dj combo business

now I just have to wait in delivery. Been far too long since my last mixer broke. I'm like a kid leading up to xmas I'm that excited about it arriving.
