  1. enjoyed that. Haven't given the breaks records a spin for many a year now myself.
  2. nice. easing me gently into monday morning in the office.
  3. this is an audiophiles guide to record. DJ's could never follow most of these... my t-shirt is a damn good record cleaner
  4. Nothing better than coming home to a delivery. I've been waiting on an order from Portugal for about 5 weeks. First one went missing and to be fair to the guy he just replaced them and sent them again. There was one he didn't have so I swapped that for another. Good service. Still waiting on the new delivery after 1 week. Postage from Portugal/Spain is a nightmare at the best of times though.

  6. meh, I'm bored hearing about the 'revival' of vinyl. Never went away and never will for me.
  7. There's just some records out there though that you're not gonna get on the cheap though. Most I've paid for a record was around the £50 mark. And looking at my collection stats (I only have fraction of my collection listed on discogs) the most valuable record I have is Kalisha - 'Don't Need A Lover' which has a max price of £53.28.
  8. I've only ever had 1 bad experience and that was few years ago when a seller told me the record I was buying off him had a scratch on it (this wasn't in the media condition description). He asked me if I still wanted it, I said no so he then gave me a negative rating and said he hadn't received payment. That's the only negative rating I've had and it brings my buyers rating down. Ive tried to appeal this many times but nothing ever gets done to remove it.
  9. Discogs is the best thing on the internet. . Especially since I came back to Scotland I've been buying loads of records from it. Doesn't cost an arm and a leg for postage for me either.
  10. even though this is was an april fools it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if it was real.

  14. that's a tough task
  15. lots to dig through there. Postage is a bit of a killer though. Will prob just stick to european based sellers.
  16. here's a list of a few movies coming out this year that are based around dance music. 'Eden' looks decent, 'entourage' will be awesome i'm sure and 'enter the dangerous mind' looks dark as fuck. http://www.mixmag.net/the-blog/dance-mu ... o-watch-15
  17. because they have to save something for the upgrade once everyone has bought these ones.
  18. bit late but I use switch too.
  19. What are you using to produce your tracks? if it's ableton then you just stick a utility tool on the master ad reduce the track width setting to 0% if it's Logic then there's a button on each channel strip that allows you change between stereo and mono. Its also on the master channel
  20. http://www.mixmag.net/words/news/has-oi ... ripped-off Why would you rip off one of the most recognisable tracks ever. Also made a shit track with it....
  21. apparently the licence was renewed but they have to start using sniffer dogs on the door. That's fuckin bullshit. Doesn't make for a relaxing vibe when you arrive at the club.
  22. Saying it 'faces closure' is media hype, which is probably why they haven't commented on what is simply a licence review. Well fabric themselves didn't take it too lightly. Thing with London is that it's all being bought up by developers who don't really like having clubs in the area so this could be the excuse they need to shut it down.
