Analogue is the way to go. There are very good vst's available but they just don't match the warmth of an analogue unit.

i honestly thought it was gonna be more than that when I first heard about it. I don't thin that's too bad. You'd pay 600-800 for an old analogue synth or even worse you'd pay 7-8k for a jupiter 8 these days.
