how good is it for undergound house/techno tracks? Shazam has proven itself for me. Only a few tracks it hasn't found and they're all pretty obscure.

It still has some adds when it submits your tags but that's nothing to worry about.

Shazam is free and finds some tracks you might not expect it to.

TB-303's are the worst. talking about $2500 for a unit that cost about $500 when it came out in 1982. I reckon these are a different thing though. The roland units have iconic sounds that still cant really be reproduced by digital means. Technics are iconic to look at but not really essential in a studio for the sound quality. Yeah thats true but they do have iconic status which goes a long way for the value rising as time goes on.

Unless you can get your hands on an 808/909 this is the boy...

That kind of job wouold be ideal, second only to working in a record shop. Shame it don't pay what I'm used to.
