I go around having a chat to djs. The more people you know the better I guess. You won't be friends with everyone but the more people you talk to the better it will be for ya. Most guys always give ya a tip or two if you ask. If you spot one of the dj's at the bar after his set, that's probably a good time to start chatting. I'd say don't be scared of talking to anyone either. Example, I went up to John Course about a earlier this year and he is a top bloke! Gave me some advice and just spoke about some random shit for a bit.

i was trying to get that electro bassline / synth sound thats in spencer & hill tunes etc... was tearing my head apart trying to do it but turns out it's pretty damn easy (shame lol) anyways, i, pretty sure ive worked it out now, or have something close to it...

ive been trying to make that typical electro bass sound you hear in Porter Robinson, Lucky Date, Spencer & Hill etc but i seem to be a little intellectually challenged when it comes to this. i just cant get anywhere close! im clearly doing something wrong so is anyone able to throw me a few tips / tricks? shanks
