yes... it does ive done alot of playing around with it and ive found better quality sound+ ease of use using it straight from mixer to efx to speakers rather than as send/return, with the disadvantage of not being able to isolate single channel. No matter what I adjust (depth, character, effect lvl, in/out levals) using send/return I seem to get small amount of feedback and using two effects at once things turn bad sometimes... otherwise yea its good. hope this answers your question

The first time I played to a few people it was a mates 18th at local footy club, I was using numark total control and virtual dj and my laptop crashed about 4 times.... lucky it was just for fun not money..... so i got drunk and put on playlist. didnt turn out so bad. The police have also spoiled things for me... noise complaints can screw things up badly so its not a bad idea to remind who ever asks you to come that it will be loud and there may be people around who dont like doof doof shaking their house.

what did everyone use to do there mixes? just curious, I used decks if ur wondering haha and agree with skank all great!

Finally got around to recording something it's far far from tight. Just want some feedback. I know I need to work on beat matching... its not perfect, eq levals are up and down in places, way to busy in places. Gone with A&H because of sound quality, build quality-faders ect are the top of the line, I don't plan on getting any more gear for a very very long time. I got the 92, don't need any more than two channels at the moment but I would like to have that option in the future. I do take your point on board Chris totally agree but like I said this is a long term investment and better to spend it on this than what my gf wanted.....a new couch, couch---xone 92 what would you pick?

Home contents won't cover it generally...If shit happens and they ask why and where, they will decide it was being used as a source of income therefor it needs to be some sort of business equipment insurance. have a look into OAMPS they might be able to help. if they are ruined and you have good contents insurance it would be convenient for them to get stolen i guess....

The time has come for me to get a good mixer (saved enough). I have pair of cdj-2000s and a KP mini. Just using basic two channel at the moment. Pioneer have released price on djm-2000 about 3k, but I would have to wait for another month to get one and there is probably more bang for buck available. I've been looking at other mixers since i got my decks in march. 1. xone 92 2. 4d maybe but then il have to get a sick laptop as well.... 3. Vestax PMC580 Is what I have come up with on my top list. I'm fairly new to this so any other suggestions, comments/advice would be great fellas.

Until the Rob Swire remix of ghosts n stuff came out most ppl didn't have a clue about deadmau5 how long had ghosts n stuff been around dec 04? Not saying I hate the new track but same deal a few lyrics and some pop radio exposure and now it's in all the clubs just like any other m.o.s. annual music...not saying i hate all that etha, but I fear his music will change now and we will just see more pop from him, I hope im wrong.

Just wondering recommendations on what to use to record and alter small voice clips? Anouther noob question, what would you fellas/ladies recommend as far as recording mixes? is there a sound card with aux inputs available or is there an easier way? also programmes what would you suggest?...... ableton? I'm just looking to make a few voice clips to play over songs and record a few mixes to share...... I have had a look on forums already couldn't find too much if i have missed a thread please direct me to it and sorry for the waste of time. Cheers!

I will post some photos hoepfully later tonight! and production...ive had a play around ableton and hope to get better at it I would not call myself a producer atall tho, but thats my goal to play my own music it would be amazing. I'm fully focused on getting better on my cdjs at the moment working on the basics and playing around with things ive seen and trying some other ideas along the way.

yea rekordbox is a sweet thing pre programmed loops hot cues and "quantize" is also wicked u cant stuff up a loop after the track has been analysed. Bring on djm-2000!!!
