Hi guys i recently bought this led tri light off ebay http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/320637263094 ... 1439.l2649 and it seems the sound active mode wont work but im sure im probably doing it wrong and was wondering if anyone can give any advice heres a photo of the dip switches: it says to set them in that way *i think* and it should be in sound active mode, but it seems to be on auto as it still go nuts even with no sound and covering the mic with finger even does not change anything (compared my other lights will just have no light but when u start a beat it will get going in time with beat) if anyone has any advice would be awesome cheers, as its a mad light but not so cool when not sound active

yeah true man tbh ive been watching this great series of videos on youtube on the mixer here but watching it has made me realise theres no need the 800 has plenty enough for me... will wait a while i think, thx for advice

hi tractixx i just bought a djm800 today with the intention of eventually selling it and adding in the extra to get a djm2000. I was hoping to get more than 700 for it though... what does a djm800 go for these days i thought its a little more? its in perfect nick apart from cpl small marks (need to almost touch mixer with nose to notice them) but i also am in no rush as im happy to use this a while longer until i see a very good price on a 2000.. but just letting you know if you come up abit i will definately let it go! ps im in sydney

Hi guys, as you will see in my other post ive just upgraded to cdj2000s so im selling my Limited Edition Blue 400k pack which has : 2 x CDJ 400 K 1 x DJM 400 K 1 Limited Edition Blue road case all the cables the limited edition kit is all black (no ugly silver like on standard 400s) and ALL the lights are blue! (standard 400s are red) apart from looking much nicer this kit also will hold its value much better than standard 400s due to being limited edition all the gear was my first kit so in literally in brand new condition never left my house and always in road case and covered and was purchased from dj warehouse in leichhardt for somewhere around 2500-3000 about year and half ago im located in castle hill sydney if want to come have a look asking price is 1700 (i based this upon someone selling on ebay for 1800 just cpl weeks ago) please reply if interested or any fellow djs want to give advice if this price is too low/high or comment on the kit Thanks

I went and picked this beautiful kit up today got him down to 3500

yup ive heard the truths are great monitors and 200s speak for themselves.. i had a djx700 and quickly got rid of it due to terrible eq pots and effects sections but ;/ either way i reckon this is great value for money if ur looking to get a startup kit this will do you for a long time worst case scenario u might trade in the mixer for a 350/400!

hi cupe i know this is probably obvious and just annoying to mention but the one thing that dissapoints me about the site is logging on and seeing like no new posts.... i love this forum and reading all the interesting posts but theres just not enough people!! imagine ten times the posts every day (and moderated just as good as now) would be AWESOME but i know thats not an easy thing but even being quieter than i want still the best place for a young aspiriing dj in aus!!

so its 1 900 and 1 2000 ? ooo gets best of both worlds im a sucker for having the setup look sexy though... does it look wierd having a 900 one side and 2000 on the other? i guess they look very similar anyway... this is a good buy same price as the one im looking at (see my post in this forum) except i think his 800 is much older.. no warranty has wear marks around faders etc i could not come look but cos im in sydney where as the 2000 man is in sydney also

yeah man i actually had (still have) 1000s before aswell and reason for upgrade was that 3 times they broke in the same spot and i superglued them back together but after reading about xd53s thought i would get something more reliable(wont break at gigs etc) and very happy with it, now my 1000s are just smash around and listen to music in bed n stuff so dont have to worry about damaging my xd53s by rolling onto them when im asleep or something haha
