ok i just bought all the lights .. totalled 260 w shipping including a T Bar so ima wait for them to come set it all up and then drop the coin on the speakers(just want to keep an eye out for cpl weeks before spending the 800) thanks again mate for the advice!

awesome thanks man.. so you dont use cans at all? im new to it and thought they were essential but if i could save approx 200 on lights (no par can or tri light but add a lazer projector) then would def go with the behringer not to mention i guess a T bar will be alot less than a the 100 dollar truss!

So please can anyone give advice if this is reasonable amount to spend, or can it be done cheaper, but also is this enough speaker + lights to get going for a good while and hopefully make enough money back to repay the investment and then save for a nice upgrade along with some 2000s ofcourse lolol ! hopefully not only can i get advice but this could help with some useful links for some other djs looking to make this step forward!

Hi guys, I want to compete in the tenminmix comps (www.djtutor.com) and upload vids of me mixing etc.. but not sure how? My setup atm is just out from my djm400 into line in on iRiverE150 and then upload an mp3 for ppl to download... but want to have youtube vids with camera of me mixing aswell. So I think this is how it should work: Webcam from pc pointing at setup records video rca > 3.5 mm jack from mixer to line in on pc into audacity records audio then i have a video, plus an audio file... can i then upload the video part to youtube but USE the audio file as the audio, and will it match up? Please if anyone does this just tell me how you do it and will buy whatever i have too money is not an issue, although the more i spend the slower it will take me to save up for CDJ2000s hehe any advice for setting this up would be much appreciated! PS i would like to start using audacity again as im not happy with the audio quality that my Iriver gets... have to turn the mixer right down (under 0dB) otherwise can get some distortion so this setup would be great as my pc is not too far from decks anyway! thanks in advance much appreciated

ROFL they are VERY similar once u get into them haha i can see ur frustration mann. i did like out my bitch at first but not keen on 2nd one at all, sounds like a worse version with some more vocals

you dont use the cross fader? nope, very rarely if at all, i just use channel faders and eq's ! do you use a combo of channel faders and crossfader or just crossfader?

man that is awesome, i wish i could give some more helpful feedback but i cant find anything that i think could improve has such a great sound. i told my Gf this song won an award best trance of 2010 and she believed and agreed she isnt into edm at all but still thats a great sign !! tis mau5y and i love that, look how much hes made !! the piano just kills all imo makes it from good to absolutely beautiful
