hey i noticed that when i was giving someone rep i could go in and see who gave rep when in relation to what post and what comment they added. that led me to wonder if and who had given me rep(i think some ppl have cos is says 1.7 i figure its starts at 1) and what comments and what posts they gave it to me in relation to. but i cant find it ! +rep to whoever can show me heheehehe cheers

he didn't mean any harm siker... this aint like the other forums you can make a new thread without getting raped as far as i can tell id get: 4 x CDJ 2000s (probly only use 2 but what the hey) 1 x DJM 2000 (maybe 2 lol one to pleasure myself on) never used vinyl but would buy 2 technics 2 X latest mac pro some massive 8K PA's JBL or something some nice monitors a club and people who know how to run it a new house specifically designed with a club/party room controlled via remote a limo with driver, with decks in the back to roll around in and mix

that one with the decks loooked good, sorry cupe i wouldn't have the foggiest how to do it, but i agree with a change would be good its well designed but some diff colours and abit more dj themed would be awesome

yeah the 4d is awesome, i have a launchpad its really good great value for money and i found an awesome thread on mapping it for traktor also, only thing i feeel its lacking its some knobs, the button level things just isnt as human as knobs

yeah i do same as you CBG, ive been wanting to organise my cds better for a while. that is a great post you summed it up perfectly i can definately relate nothing more frustrating when youve found a great set of songs to mix but every time you hit record something you lose it somewhere! but we cant learn without making mistakes

yeah thats true CBG, only for long mixes, not your short electro n stuff. i had a quick search and ended up finding the bad transitions thread and revived it hehe

yeah i will try that CBG thanks man good idea because there is alot going on in this intro to this song. how do you mean transients? i know them as the things in ableton lol, do you mean like a change in the sound of the kick or something? thx for help mate appreciate it

hey all, whats your thoughts on harmonic/key mixing? i read up on it and on other forums etc, and followed it religiously for a while, but then i decided to just ignore it, i have all my tracks keyed and if im mixing two tracks and they sound perrrrfect together, i will check the keys expecting that they are matching, but quite often they are completely different keys but just sound absolutely great together? so ive pretty much lost all faith and ignore keys lately so i was wondering what everyone else does

yeah me 2, its a shame, using a roll for 1 bar seems to hold better so i use that sometimes. its usefulle for what i wrote below ther also the two transitions i will struggle with are sometracks that have a very short intro, or vocals very early in the song. and also, there are just some tracks that i cannot for the life of me match to any other beat! rare, but one track i got recently is a remix of one more time(DP) and i know it back the front, but whenever i try drop it, just allways ends up trainwreckin it seems to change speed or something

hehe, i must have watched those pioneer djm2000 vids on youtube about ten times on different occcasions when i start to day dream I started with stanton pack 2 c300s and stanton mixer 211 i think, very basic. then i purchased behringer djx750 with 2 channels ableton and 2 channels stantons hehe. recently i sold the stanton pack and the djx750 and picked up the cdj400k limited edition blue pack and i am very happy. still could use and upgrade to djm 2000 hehe.
