downloaded mixvibes demo, had about an hour play, i love the interface but it still feels the same as virtual dj, just a differnt look...

So I got the traktor trial, got the mapping for the RMX but couldn't get it hooked up but that didn't matter as I was just foolin around with it, all I can see that's different with traktor is the ability to have 4 decks and it has different effects, other then that it doesn't seem to do to much more then vdj , coerrect me if I'm wrong

Gear: Hercules rmx I have been asked to do a house party and would like to also do more, so I'm looking to get a pair of good speakers and possibly a sub if I can afford it to do medium sized house parties, would like great sound obviously But also a fair amount of bass, budget is probly 500 max, will I need standard speakers or powered speakers with a built in amp? for use with the RMX obviously possibly a low budget but I'm not trying to throw a 1000+ people rave lol only speakers I've really seen are behringers and skytec, 2 brands I know nothing about recommendations? thank you, the exact explanation ive been looking for on the net, ok so doing some research and the hercules RMX needs midi mapping downloads for traktor pro but will work fine, but whats confusing me is there is traktor prom traktor 3, and traktor scratch.... personally even the name virtual DJ turns me off LOL

ok a bit off topic for a sec, being a rookie, vdj was just the 1st software i jumped on, if traktor is better then yeh ill upgrade, but ive heard its for scratching? what is the different between VDJ n Traktor? and wazza, i like the set up!

so im running my hercules RMX off my laptop, but i also have a second monitor from my un-used desktop computer that ive been hooking up as a secondary and just sitting itunes on it to browse songs. but its not very beneficial and am wondering if any of you know of a good program that i may benefit from running on that second monitor, something that compliments VDJ maybe, i dunno, heck even a visualization program that connects to the VDJ music etc... thanks

So if I was say mixing some ministry of sounds songs together and broadcasting to 4-5 odd ppl on that free radio then I should be paying royalties...?

So I have been looking into them on a small scale because they are quit a cool effect, but also hard to obtain does anyone have any info on them or use them or have used them? Cheers

hi, so i want what the title says, and have had a look threw winamp with shoutcast but thats not right for me, i dont want a hosting program i basicly just want a free website that i can live stream my music from Virtual Dj's Broudcast tab onto the net and then link to a few friends to listen, i have started using listen2myradio.com and it works fine but is as basic as the dark ages. does anyone know of somthing with the same concept but alot more of a "pretty" site? cheers

Am on my iPhone ATM so can't veiw the video, but will check it out after work, so I've had an idea, best way to get advise and tips on what I'm doing right/wrong is or you to see it correct? I could possible just throw up a quick video of a mix so u all can see, thoughts?

cheers, recommended programs? i only know of traktor other then VDJ but the hercules was meant for VDJ so i just went with it for now lol
