You could also try changing the wireless channel that the access point uses to communicate. If you are in an apartment block or have a 2.4gb cordless phone, if they use the same frequency as your access point, it can cause instability and range issues. Almost all AP's and wireless routers have 13 channels to play with. One of the earlier posts which said your wireless card is no good could well be on the money too. updating the driver would be a good start.... hey, if it driver download fixes it, then you save some $$$

great price considering the current hard drive shortage crisis.... Suppliers have been advising sellers to basically sell any exisiting stock at full RRP as the prices may continue to rise and stay high until the end of 2012 when Seagate can catchup on the backorders.
