100grand Posted November 23, 2009 Share Posted November 23, 2009 I googled that "John Myatt" person and he's typed up heaps of stuff on DJing.I don't know if he's supporting Virtual DJ users or if he's dissing them by encouraging DJs to use the keyboard shortcuts. Who cares, now I'm autocueing, beatstepping, hot cueing and using this repeating cue thing- I understand where you'd use this repeating cue thing that just sounds like a repeating ba, ba, ba, ba, ba sound, its just like those instructions for PCDJ-Red Mobile in that beginner dj forum.Just go into config, select keyboard shortcut "g" then type in "goto_first_beat then press that plus sign. I'll update this later with beatstepping and repeatingcued ect because I'm configuring the crap out of Portable Virtual DJ right nowe, this DJing thing is so addictive and I've only been doing it for an hour or so.
