Jaz Posted September 21, 2011 Share Posted September 21, 2011 hahaha all these threads start after we all get the storeDJ newsletter they look great, and i bet they sound just as good, but for the price you could be looking at a much better brand with a smaller driver...ehh id probs rather 10" how would such a large driver on monitors be able to get the high pitched bass and also fast kicks in a row? larger woofer = larger compression and decompression right? like when u have 12" subs in a car they can do very fast bass where as 15's wont keep up.... tubby Posted September 21, 2011 Share Posted September 21, 2011 a little confusing isn't it? the rp10 i think is the sub, and the new 10 is a 3 way speaker?wonder what market they are aiming at, most people find 8" monitors almost too loud, 10 " going to be hard to get to sound good at less than damaging volumes at monitor's normal range.
