hey guys, so whats the best method of getting the smell of smoke out of things? do you just leave it to air, or is there a faster method? all my gear reaks of it from the doof last night. (p.s. doof = rave in the bush)

Hey guys, had my first doof last night. EVERYTHING is covered in dust, im currently cleaning all my cables as I type this. Great night, (accept for the dust part) and I seem to be getting better at reading the croud. Biggest hits for the night where: Kill everyone and satisfaction temperature remix. Some girl was hammered after 2 drinks Spent most of the night stuffing myself with food. DID SOME MIXING AND THEY LIKED IT! accept im going to be honest, I did it on my laptop because my beat matching skills aren't up to scratch.(although my inaccurate jog wheels don't help at all) Overall it was a great night!

jesus, that really pisses me off, that ppca licence, what use does it have? why is it even there? besides another way to penny pinch. They all ready take almost 30% of our hard earned pay, and yet they make stupid crap like this >_< edit: there not even government, they can go screw themselves, ive already brought the songs so its not like im not contributing to the artists.

Ehh, either way I had a great time, and id be satisfied even if I don't do anything else from what im doing now.

Also jas, what I was thinking of doing was, as much as the mdex is bread and butter, its fine for what im doing now. So I was planning to save back up the $2500 I spent on my gear and then after that save up for new stuff. That way I haven't lost any money from it, and it doesn't end up as a money pit.

haha yeh, I was going to apply at a local high school, but there hall is big, and just wanted to know if I had the stuff to do the gig, instead of rocking up on the night with shit all. anyways now I know I pretty much have enough, so il arrange a meeting soon.

Hey guys, so I was wondering what I would need to light a large hall? e.g. 30m by 15m. I currently have 8 floodlights with colored globes hooked up to a chaser. Huge LED moon flower thingy (one jas used to have) 1 generic laser light thingo 1 basic strobe. what else would I need?
