  1. I was tending to stear towards the s4 rather than the tt1, although it is wonderfully big, it needs some serious real estate. Also I was liking the s4 because I could take it interstate. also, ive decided im not going to use samples much, but does the tt1 have cue points? and also, I liked the dedicated filter knobs on the s4, but I spose I can just set a filter as one of the effects knobs right?
  2. And if anyone says im shit cause im using a controller, il point to the dance floor and say "Could a shit dj do that".
  3. ^ I agree, for general use I use a pc because of the comparability with all my game creation software. But when you want something reliable, you get a mac!
  4. Wow that's good, thanks, so what laptop should I get? I can get a macbook pro for $500 ($1200 - $700 rebate) or should I get a pc? generally id sway towards the mac because ive never had it fail to start up on me. /touch wood
  5. ok so guys, im sick of wandering from option to option. What should I buy gear wise? I was going to go with an s4 because of the portability but you guys seem to want me to get cdj's (although, an s4 can do everything I need it to and wont blow my budget) so what should I get? atm if I got cdj's id probs get a pair of 800's and a 400 mixer. so what do you guys honestly think I should get? should I stick with an s4, or go cdj
  6. Another thing ive discovered, the songs ive been mixing haven't sounded to good cause theres been too much going on. Listening to songs on jango now and writing them down.
  7. Im not sure I earn enough to get tax back :/ not to mention the government still haven't sent back my tax file number form
  8. all I get is enough for a bag of lolly's
  9. Sounds like a plan! if you want, we could go through and delete old de railed threads so it generally has a better image, or if you gave me the permission, I could go through the old posts and clear out from the point onwards wear it de rails
  10. well, you could get some 1000's because Im pretty sure there the club standard
  11. I know how you feel, I was so tempted to buy a mixtrack pro a while back, but I decided not to cause my current mixer does everything I need it too.
  12. Jesus christ, your content on spending your money aint you. Look, just get 800s - 900s, your only going to need them to practice because the club will have there own stuff. Also, dont get like I did and distracted by effects, a good mix does not need them.
  13. Yeh, still wont let me :/

  20. Pretty much the same as the mdex without usb or sd card functionality. They look like they have a more solid build though
  21. Might make it just as a concept. BUT!!! I was thinking, I could make a midi traktor controller in the shape of a guitar, with a guitar strap and everything. think about standing up on stage, mashing buttons to mix music like your playing guitar hero. I think it would be awesome, but not very practical.
  22. its just a tutorial, but some of the stuff he does is amazing I think I might have to get a basic midi fighter with my s4 C:
  23. ^ true but I really like the regular versions, and they have quite good reviews from what ive seen.
