  1. hahaha yeah i had to google it aswell, thats why I edited my post saying thats not the type of mixer you are after lol.
  2. If your looking to pay that amount i'd go for a second hand djm 700 or 800. Even any of the xone mixers. edit: just had a look at those mixers... and that's not the type of mixer you need.
  3. This is off an old mixtape i had back in '08. Cant remember who's it was, It's before i was DJ'ing though. I actually heard it out last weekend so it reminded me to find out wtf it is. I've searched fucking everywhere and cant find it at all. I cut the track out of of the mixtape and put it on soundcloud: Lighthouse Family - High (forever you and me) WHAT REMIX IS THIS??? Lighthouse Family - High (forever you and me) remix. by Y-FI cheers whales.
  4. Well hes definitely a scammer then.
  5. jaz is like the Australian watchdog for dj gear on the internet.
  6. fuck i cannot stand the smileys you use dude... i fucking hate these ones: fkn teef. Don't do it whales.
  7. id be keen, too bad i play mostly house and electro haha.
  8. yeah it all depends on your goals for which type of gear you should be buying. as spitfire said...
  9. yeah hd 25's are mint. I tested both hdj 1000's and 25's out at storedj a few months back. Picked up the sennies good luck selling these boss.
  10. yeah i agree with djim, one grand wont make a difference.
  11. Cheers for the feedback guys, might give em a ring tommorow. And it's on the 10 year sale pdf jaz. Ex demo.
  12. haha, i actually spat out my water all over the screen. but yeah what lloyd said, you'll be right you got ages.
  13. are you getting gigs there at the moment?
  14. joined brah.
  15. I've read/watched some reviews but all of them are contradicting eachother.
  16. Anyone used these before? storedj have them on sale so im considering picking up a pair so I dont have to hire anymore. (pretty sick of it) https://www.storedj.com.au/products/MAC-THUMP15A Mainly for house partys, hall partys, function rooms, maybe some bar gigs & odd weddings n shit. 250 ppl max usually. also I've been using JBL PRX512 hired for my house party's so far and have had no worries (around 130 people). But I have had to hire the prx515's for some larger gigs.
  17. yeah anyone looking to start out (people making what should I buy threads the last few days) / looking to upgrade because they bought garbage gear should be smashing that up asap. cough cough
  18. I'd probably contribute to this argument but I don't give a shit. just my 1 cent.
  19. what jaz and karma said. If you buy second hand pio gear it's usually pretty good. I bought a djm 800 end of last year for $1200 (before the price drop) and it had a bit of wear and tear on the surface but seemed fine. Although I had to get all 4 faders repaired last week because they started to fuck up. I think it was used in a club or some shit though. If your buying second hand gear from a person using it for bedroom banging and the odd mobile gigs then you will have no worrys with it failing.
  20. You dont have to buy something new, you can get some good stuff second hand like people have suggested in this thread already.
  21. agreed, the words, "budget" and "dj" do not fit together well. exactly. Of course you can buy budget gear but it's just shit.
  22. yeah it was commercial house and electro. I'm used to it now though because I play at hotels every weekend. I'll post some pics here when they come through on the facebook page. probs mid-week.
