I was using a shitty acer emachine that I got for like $300 for gigs. Lets just say it was a pos and cut out on me a few times during gigs. So i ended up buying a mac, it's amazing for dj'ing and live audio production.... Never any problems. I'm sure if you buy a decent pc though and take the necessary precautions and prepare it for live audio it will be fine though.

are you sure it doesn't work for traktor? wtf can't they make it simple like the rest of them? sound card input into cdj's & soundcard output into the mixer AND I usually bring in a mix cd's if the guy has a laptop before me so he can pack up and get out of my way while then mix is playing then I can set up while the mix is going.

I think ive posted this in a million mk2 threads. They go for about 500-700 ea depending on the condition. Mk3's go for about 700-900.

If your not using rekordbox with cdj 900s or 2000's you're doing it wrong. If your using cd's as the main medium or non-rekordbox usb's its basically a glorified cdj 1000.
