  1. sydney finals are this coming weekend I think, Then it's coming to brisbane in a few months.
  2. ^^^ that's exactly what i told you jaz, no one is buying 850's. I'd never buy 850's over 900's. 900's are the shit.
  3. it all came to a total cost of $0 how did you do it? Was it that education rebate shit?
  4. Jesus was that like $10,000?
  5. pay for dj sol dios' plane tickets to sydney and mention that the party will have an interstate dj. they will go fkn crazy.
  6. Well at this stage you will never be getting his CDJ's if his selling a 700 at that price lol. show him this, http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BRAND-NEW-PI ... 4838wt_935 It's new and it comes with a 2 year warranty..... I don't feel sorry for people who don't take the time and do the research on what shit does and how much it is worth.
  7. lol was going to say what a load of shit haha. Like foe said you can buy them new for less ahahah. second hand 800's go for around that, even less infact. I fkn hate whales like that. Learn the market before you try and sell your shit.
  8. $1100 for the cdjs and mixer?
  9. apparently the behringer B815 neo's are pretty good. They are like $700 ea though.
  10. how much foe? do you have traktor duo 2?
  11. neg rep for that cupe. That's appalling, posting useless information brings the forum down. /sarcasm.
  12. I dont think I have ever used reverse in a useful way.
  13. dude we just told you it doesn't matter what tracks you choose. Obviously tracks in the same key will sound better but you can mix everything. like i said a million times before just mix the intros and outros. just mix 2 deadmau5 songs if you have to.
  14. do you actually get pretty good sound output from those 4 sol? even though it's audioline.
  15. I dropped over 3k in my first setup. but I actually did loads of research before I bought my gear, knew the ins and outs of everything and I watched so many vids off youtube and taught myself before I even bought the gear. The fact you don't know the difference between a 2 and 4 channel mixer and the comment about the x1 cdj means you need to do more research on everything. Nothing is wrong with dropping alot but you need to know wtf you are doing and why you are buying that particular gear over another.
  16. track knowledge and choice is 1/2 the battle. If you don't know your tunes you're fucked.
  17. lol^^ yeah that's why I dont do much mobile shit anymore, Pain in the ass and tiring setting/packing up. Club gigs are easy.... rock up and play, use there gear and still get paid well. And I still get to go out after/before gigs. Also depending on how much you get paid, If you get gigs friday and saturday nights and 1 more for the sunday sesh you'd make more than doing 1 standard mobile gig for a weekend. (apart from weddings lol) + more fun because you're playing club tracks and shit you're more probably into.
  18. HAHAHA OHH SNAP. but yeah, theres about a million threads on this with a simple google and/or youtube search. why do people new to dj'ing never search? 90% of there q's have already been asked. I'm not trying to sound like a dick and I've helped tons of people on various forums with questions before, but don't be lazy and expect everything to be spoon fed to you.
  19. pretty good man for first attempt, like pun mentioned theres more advanced mixtape shit you need to work on but in terms of first mix it's beatmatched as far as I can tell (on laptop speakers lol) which is the most important for your first one. edit: oh and the vocal clash with cry just just a little and save the world on the last transition needs to be fixed up.
  20. haha, told ya sol. But yeah seriously keep it up brah, especially when i saw those pics of your setup in the other thread. Looking good.
  21. yeah same setup as me, $3000 maybe?
  22. tons of sluts, good stuff.
  23. because im mosly using a dvs nowdays and usually you cant enable master tempo. As in, software wont work.
  24. 1000 mk2's go for about 500-600 1000 mk3's go for $700-800 usually
  25. fuarkkkk, pressure alesso mix is so fkn good. I've been surprised whenever i play alesso remixes out they go down pretty well. He's doing good stuff at the moment. but yeah not too bad boss, obviously like the others pointed out a few off beat transitions. good shit though for first mix.
