pretty sure mashups are allowed but only count as one song like like you need 10 tracks, not just 10 songs so mashup = 1 track but mixing an accapella over a track - 2 maybe?

Was just given a logitech x-530 surround sound speaker system which comes with three imput cables... green, dull pinkish looking, and black I have a Dell Inspiron n5010 which has a label on it saying SRS premium sound, and the laptop comes with IDT HD sound. there is one headphone jack and one mic jack on the side but im pretty sure I can reconfigure it to be another headphone jack using IDT, but for some reason IDT wont pick up that i'm plugging something in any more... any one have any ideas? cheers in advance MI

@sol in relation to filters Sounds like your a little to over reliant on them Sol.. not flaming cause im in exactly the same boat... found myself using Lowpass and highpass for almost every transition... currently trying to teach myself to do whole sets without any efffects... maybe its time to let them go Sol?

agreed... i love my DDj S1, was an amazing learning tool... but I strongly feel like no matter how much i practice on it, i will never be ready for a club gig unless i get my hands on some real gear... 4 deck mixing is impossible to learn there for your constantly hitting a glass roof... but this thread is not about Controllers vs CDJ/Vinyl its a about sync... and i think its a unanimous decision... Sync is ok for.. -Beginners learning the bare concepts of mixing -experts that are using the feature to do things that are fuck off amazing like 4 track mash ups Not! for lazy Dj's who cant be fucked beat matching
