It works as a banner anyway It's a good solid logo. You could even stand to lose some of the detail in the cross if you had to.

The first thing I done when I got FL was to load some of the default songs into the player. Check out how they work, mess with them, remove some stuff, add some stuff, chop, change and edit some stuff. It's sort of like using a template I guess - really helped me work out how they made this do that etc
