well you can't see links on this forum unless you register i like that first post idea, i can check into that to see if it's possible on this sort of CMS/forum the area's wouldn't be invisable, you just wouldn't be able to see the posts in them, only see the sections. like, sign out and try to view the offtopic section for example

well, you could make the whole forums unviewable to someone unless they register, that'd stop most lurkers and raise new rego's up but it's a bit harder to make certain area's accessible after a certain number of posts. i think given a longer space of time this place will become huge, there's just nothing else or nowhere else out there that is this focussed and directed towards aussie dj's that is worth posting on. i reckon we just pick which ones (probably a couple more than what you said) that people would be coming here to lurk for, so we force rego's it's a bit hard to force ppl to post though. i've seen the 'post 10 times before you have access here' shit and it promotes random shit useless posts
