Djaz VDJ still creates a .M3U file when you save a playlist!!! its a TXT file open it in NOTEPAD an example: file name is called--- megamixes (07-06-2010).m3u
-
but if you go to non-computer stores then you pay $$$$$ top dollar no thanks I even know what the wholesalers charge so when a retailer sells it I can still beat them down in price and officeworks is a joke!
-

well I have 2x 16gb ones here what happens is you put say 4GB on it and the directories screw up it comes out with jibberish words in that directory say E:\music\kafsratejags8ehsj\ now you try to delete that added directory and it will crash the system so the most I will use on these small flash drives is 8GB or I buy (which I have) a Solid state hard drive 64GB SATA you can buy usb to sata plugs as well so its all up to you, but its what happens
-
ok what do you mean ? what is the playlist created in , in the first place ? winamp vdj ? they create .m3u files as playlists and the m3u files are TXT files opens in notepad! so if you need something different better explain it a lot more or I cant give you a solution!
-
they are all .m3u files Djaz basicly a txt file if you need an ebook on itunes just pm me
-
be warned there are a lot out there that are not stable! 8gb yes and under, but over are a hit and iss affair! oh and all flash drives are formated to fat32 factory settings

get one of the addons that create an .m3u playlist (i'll go find one) then it can be used in winamp, windows media player, vdj plus many more itunes sux for creating that crap
-
By the way when I started (learnt djing) I ended up buying the company
-
then Raptor - you do what you do and i'll do what I do I been repairing computers now for over 15x years so if that doesnt tell you how I know then go read it all and test it for yourself with many months on two systems one win pc and one a mac crap! have a nice day
-
thats because people keep using spaces in names they create a file for online use either put . in the filename or use _ in the filename like cupe.is.one.type.of.guy.mp3 or this_is_how_you_make_file_names.mp3 or you will end up the file looking like crap and 9/10 times it wont work!
-
but if you work in IT and know what you are doing it shouldnt crash.... then how do you think most of the it guys argue all the time on what works and what doesnt but answer this why did macs decide to change the cpus to intel if intel was supose to be the worst cpus around that macs wouldnt run on! the IT guys will argue all the time over it! so there you go - have a nice day
-
I have 4x systems here 3x in my office and 2x have been online for months at a time no crashes I use one for downloading one is for music one for dvd stuff one I use everyday only time I need to do anything is a reboot after I crash it (that I can crash a mac if I play with it because you have to know what a system can do) macs are just as easy to crash as a pc but once setup correctly you wont have any problems this machine has been online for: 118 days, 7 hours, 48 minutes, 50 seconds
