Here is my little review of foreshore weekend lads! Academy on the Friday was awesome. It was pretty quiet when we got there, but the dude before us got the crowd going, then we started at 1:30-2:15 and we played a fairly energetic and dirty set, it was pretty much packed the whole time, loose crowd, had heaps of people coming up asking for photos with us and stuff haha it was weird. Cool club to play in though, its got like a mini stadium type feel to it. Something screwed up with the security guards and the organisers, so they didn't open the gates till about 11:30 which was after our set! We had our mates waiting at the gate from 10:30 and they were blowing up at security for not letting them in. So we still played our set, still the promoters and stuff around to listen but yeah none of our mates got to hear it! Ended up hanging out backstage all day with heaps of the artists, porter robinson, bassnectar (who is the most down to earth and coolest dude), bingo players, zedd, tommy trash, stafford brothers, dash berlin etc. They were all heaps nice and happy to chat. Got plenty of free beers and red bull and got the whole treatment, was unreal. Still so stoked to have had the opportunity and how crazy things have been getting it's all a bit ridiculous!

haha cheers lads Its actually an awesome festival, bout 20,000 people go so its not as hectic as the other sydney/melbourne festival but the lineup is still solid. haha lloyd, if we can get a gig in the gong i would gladly support jonny

Had a heaps fun gig the other night. We were meant to warm up 10-12, we played some chilled stuff till about 10:30, nek minut, place is packed so we just ripped into it. We are starting to get better at controlling the energy of the place, we would play a really energetic 10-15 mins, then slow it down a bit so people could get drinks, then we would go energetic again and everyone would be dancing, we just kept doing that and it worked really well. The club manager was actually really stoked with the stuff we were playing and how good the vibe was for a change, it's usually pretty commercial music, rnb etc, so I think people found it refreshing to hear some decent electro. We were meant to finish at 12 but the next DJ got his set time wrong and didn't turn up till 1, so we got an extra hour to play which was pretty sweet. All in all, very fun night!

Gents, ladies Everyone has to do warm up sets every now and then. Thought we could post in here some tracks which fit into the warm up set. Tech house, disco etc. Some commercial/cheese remixes and stuff would be good too. I have to do a warm up set tomorrow 10-12 and am looking for some commercial tech house remixes if anyone knows of some decent ones?
