  8. Sol, jump on this just teasing hoddi , im sure 1 of the blokes here will
  9. dude Swiss Dub is you yeh jonny? im on the coast on the 24th, deffo gonna have to check you out! Edit: fuck just realised we are in July LOL fail! cant find the club on google searching The Gentlemans Club gold coast, just brings up a heap of sites about random strip clubs
  10. cheers bro, googling now!
  11. $1100 for just the mixer, your not getting the CDJ's they are mine still has original box's and warranty/Receipts for all i can send the bloke an offer for the mixer on your behalf as well if you want
  12. i just re-read your comment and realised you said 12's with a sub, i thought you meant get a sub later for both situations my bad, in that case, yeh either way would be fine
  13. if it were me id go to 15's then the sub later, ive got 12's (not behringer) and although they fuckin pump and very basy when your 2 feet infront of them mixing in your bedroom....i doubt they would handle a crowd of 50+ as well
  14. Got a guy selling CDJ850's and a DJM700 but he doesnt want to sell them separate, i want the CDJ's, anyone want the mixer? got him down to $1100 for it, 2 months old, still under warranty n shit obviously
  15. agreed
  16. you meen cheap or expensive? i thought it was reasonable, storeDJ Bris recommended him, said he does their training days they hold (rarely)
  17. probs just 2-3 i just want to get that real basic shit down, creating a song, importing audio/accapella and editing it, learning all your instrument components like drum racks, sample racks, abletons simpler rack etc, setting up VST's, song structuring in ableton, sessions view n track view, warping and all that shit
  18. Jaz

    TOTD?

Frenzal Rhomb are mad, i used to listen to "never had so much fun" non stop back in the day
  19. cheers lads, yeh i just feel i need to be walked threw that 1st stage, im sure in a couple of months ill be looking back thinking that was easy as fuck, but its pretty daunting at the moment lol $50 an hour, cant complain
  20. Have decided to get a couple of hours tutoring on Ableton from some certified ableton technician in Brisbane otherwise im never going to get my ass into gear and get passed that 1st daunting part of ableton where everything just looks like randoms bars, words and buttons (how i see it now) should be on the 24th so expect to see some original shit coming from me after that
  21. what gigs are you doing? and yeh your looking at the right place if you want something light, Behriners Eurolive series are so damn light its crazy, like 15kg for a 15" powered speaker if your doing weddings and stuff 10"ers and a sub would be fine, if your doing 18th's and party's etc then 2 15" and a sub would be ideal as younger people love bass, you could get away with 2 12" and a sub though
  22. Are you talking about the RMX's soundcard? No it would be fine I used to do it a similar way, the audio will just go from the laptop out to the speakers whilst splitting back to the line in to record the only problem you may have is if your computer is pretty old with a shit processor it might struggle to put music out and record at the same time alternatively you could get a similar adapter that would plug into the back of your RMX so you could run 1 lead to the speakers and 1 lead to the line in to record....but I gave that example up there becuase it would work with cdj and TT's as well
  23. time and place and im there
  24. the novation launchpad is basically just a clip launcher for production software like Ableton, you dont "need" to use anything else with it, just the software obviously make all your clips and then launch them by pressing the appropriate pad
  25. i dunno why i didnt think of this before, its so simple, should work for CDJ's, TT's and midi's with any mixing software... get a double adapter and put it into your computers line out get an AUX to RCA lead and plug the single plug (AUX) into 1 of the ports on that ^ adapter, then plug the double side (RCA) into your speakers get an AUX to AUX lead and plug 1 end into the remaining port on the double adapter, then plug the other end into the line in port on your computer record threw audacity, this is now your master out line as well obviously, anything that goes threw your speakers will be recorded in Audacity all that will probs cost about $10 from Jaycar
