Hey I'm cookie, fairly new to the world of djing and this forum and would like a little advice. I'm not really down with alot of the technical jargon and stuff so please correct me if I make no sense :)

I was wonderin whether it would be possible to use the BCD3000 as an audio interface to connect my laptop with two turntables and a mixer. Using traktor and timecoded vinyl to play and scratch mp3's off my laptop.

Would this be possible or should i get rid of the bcd and buy a purpose built audio interface?

yes you can, i've seen it done on a video somewhere (maybe youtube).

I think it was using mixxx or some other software. It worked, but it looked pretty shit.

in short, your better off going with something like torq if you're on a budget, or second hand serato will set you back less than $500.
