  1. Most of her friends are in the same boat. I'll play Grease Lightning for the first hour or two, and then toughen it up when the inner pig in the crowd comes out to play.
  2. In a couple of weeks time I have the joy of spinning a 30th (sounds lame). However, she's a mad party chick who will let me play raging ball breaking techno for half the night. SO PSYCHED.
  3. Hi Cupe, I'm keen. I've done a couple on my blog (which has since been taken down due to us not paying our bills). I'll find a copy and post!
  4. pundaddy, i fucking love your avatar.
  5. Well done mate
  6. Welcome my friend. I'll trust you'll find your stay enjoyable!
  7. Anyone here listen to Class A? 'Fem C's' FTW!
  8. I wish I knew what everyone was talking about. I still live in the world of Logitech.
  9. 'We Speak No Americano' takes the cake for sure. Also, from the first few months of the year 'Out My Bitch' gets an honourable mention.
  10. thats a sick track mate oh and beatless next time you stream post it the day before and i will deff tune in!! He's one of Melbourne's better DJ's/Producers. All of his tracks are pretty tough.
  11. Disgregard that, it wasn't. Check it out though. Watch the club go (heath renata remix) by heath renata
  12. Nice Beatless. Any chance that was Heath Renata's remix of "Watch the Club Go" you just played?
  13. Illy - Cigarettes. Fuck me his new album is good.
  14. I'm the same mate. Everything EDM is called 'techno', and they only ever play the latest Ministry of Sound CD at the local nightspots. In saying that, good luck mate. Be confident in your abilities, and dont be afraid to try something different. The couple of times I've played out, I've thrown something different at the crowd, so that they realise there are better songs out there than "Out my Bitch"
  15. Good read Cupe, yet again you've done well.
  16. Nice read.
  17. Ah yes, Borgore. What a champ.
  18. Glad you liked it Lets see what else I can find on this computer of mine!
  19. Was digging through my iTunes and found this little gem. Pretty funky, hopefully someone else likes it as much as I do. Passion Pit - Sleepyhead (Kids At The Bar Remix) by kidsatthebar
  20. That was a good read. Needs a section on choreography and stage moves though.* * - I'm serious.** ** - But not really.
  21. Possibly a walnut?
  22. Cheers. Will have a listen over the next couple of days and let you know what I thought.
  23. Thanks for that Jonny. I have bits and pieces from most of those artists. Favourites are probably Skism, Rusko, Borgore and Doctor P. Any specific tracks you suggest I should sus out?
  24. Hey mate. Welcome to the forum. I was a bit like yourself; I started out playing MIDI, but I got bored and wanted to challenge myself more, hence the swap to CDJ's. It's personal preference though, MIDI controllers are great fun, just don't get lazy and hit the Sync button Maybe have a look at the lower end Behringer units too, as well as the Hercules models. They're relatively cheap, and judging by reviews they'd be a perfect fit for what you're after.
  25. Alright, so I like the genre and all; but my collection of dub isn't quite as impressive as my minimal, and tech library. Feel free to post track and artist names for me to sus out, so I can play them obnoxiously loud upon coming home from the pub at 6am in the morning
