  8. read this yesterday and lol'd. Tiesto's production is nowhere near Daft Punk's level of quality and attention to detail.
  9. This whole EP is now out for free download on his website: http://www.oizo3000.com/ Also you can pre-order a vinyl copy if your heart desires.

  11. There was one dude I think who signed up from around that way, but not an active member. Albury is fairly rural lol
  12. Thanks guys! Yer I know there are a couple of slip ups, but it gives it a live feel - which it was due to being live on the radio and unplanned.
  13. Everyone wants a bit of the electronic music scene these days
  14. I personally agree, however it is more put down to the promoters being the leading cause of this. It is easier to book lots of DJs doing short sets, as they all bring a few friends each, appeal to a wider audience, and therefore fill the venue easier. Thoughts?
  15. Saw that, cheers
  16. Welcome
  17. Dope, let me know what you think

  19. There is a beginners guide to ableton in this thread - viewtopic.php?f=3&t=8131 That's probably not a bad place to start.
  20. Did a mix on ADJF radio yesterday. I haven't uploaded anything for a little while and I'm pretty happy with yesterday's mix so here it is. June mixtape, full of deep vibes. Kick back by the pool had chuck this one on (if it wasn't the middle of winter). https://soundcloud.com/mitch_fudd/mitch-d-june-mix Ps: its pretty f#$kn deep.

  22. This isn't my style of music, however I gave it a listen, and here is me being super critical for your benefit: 1st trans - pretty good, however the incoming track comes in very quick, might have been better to introduce it at the start of a phrase to make it a bit smoother. 2nd trans - a little bit more on the EQing may have helped, otherwise it was pretty good 3rd trans - beats fall out at around 11:30, then instantly come back together sounds like you hit the sync button or something 4th trans a bit of a volume drop, may have been better timed if you brought it in a bit earlier and cut the outgoing track out on the breakdown or something The only other thing i'll mention is the how quickly you let each track play. From experience when I used to play in commercial clubs, this type of electro/big room prog sound is associated with commercial crowds. It is a typical trait of these people to have short attention spans and will lose interest if you play the 1 track too long, so if you are looking at getting your mixing skills up to club level, be aware you'll need to be able to mix in/out fast when required if you're playing this sort of thing.
  23. Tuning Drums to the key of your track All of his tutorials are in logic but obviously if your know the way around your own DAW the same principles apply and you'll be able to follow
  24. Been watching a fair bit off here lately. This guy seems to know his shizz. Too many videos to link them all so hit the link below and check it http://www.youtube.com/user/craigwilliamsmusic
