  1. pics of setup thread. posts pic of tiny portion of setup. wat.
  2. A fair amount of plug-ins are updated, and more and more probably will in the near future. ipad as a touch screen controller looks pretty dope too. Although I don't own an iPad
  3. Ok so I haven't read everything on the site yet, but apparently 32 bit plugins aren't supported anymore. So any plugin made by a developer that hasn't updated their plugins for 64 bit won't work. Eg sylenth
  4. Digital download now so no need for CDs = reduced costs. They dropped the price when v9 went from DVD to on the Mac App Store.
  5. No upgrade version. 199 is full version
  6. I Can't wait to have a computer again. Definitely getting this.
  7. quite possibly.. I don't really take too much notice of the speakers when i'm out.

    Intro

    sup dude
  9. Love you (nohomo)
  10. Yep you can link them just like laptops. As for brands they are all pretty much the same thing. I'd Just suggest getting ones where the lids have spot to clip an ADJF lanyard on, and the lid doesn't fully detach. Those two things together make them harder to lose Also I always have 3 identical usbs.
  11. I don't own PA speakers, and never have. Use club equipment when playing out, and studio Monitors for home.
  12. don't have any experience with either sorry
  13. http://forum.djtechtools.com/showthread ... post635347 http://www.futureproducers.com/forums/h ... ap-448508/ lol @ posting same q on lots of forums. anyway, here is how to fix: 1. open a finder window, then press COMMAND+SHIFT+G 2.type "~/Library/Pioneer" (without the quotes) into the windows then hit enter 3. move the Rekordbox folder to somewhere else as a backup 4. download and install latest version from -> http://rekordbox.com/download/download.php?lang=en 5. open new version, re-import your tracks, then continue to win @ life
  14. Yep. For items > $1k
  15. At home i keep some old computer things, and chuck the rest. You have brand new boss pc ( :> ) so I'd chuck nearly all the old shit
  16. A&h are top notch. Just not used as much as pioneer in aus
  17. They are both overkill for 'mucking around' at home. You could go a DJM 700/750 and be fine. As for between the 900 and 2k, the 900 will be more than adequate
  18. Yer as gremmis said, the beats aren't matched up so the vox feel out of place. Also you aren't using the acapella, so you get the clashing from the synths and drums. I'd work on getting the acapella of the track, then getting it to sit in the right spot.

    TOTD?

We have an essential albums thread
  20. French housey sorta style
  21. depends where overseas for example a mixer from the us is designed for 110V use, which means you'll need a transformer to make it work with our 240V electricity. also you may run into warranty issues in the unfortunate circumstance that it breaks
  22. never been to factory sound but their stock looks alright judging by their site
