  2. Ok guys we have had similar threads, and mods feel free to move this if you think there is a better spot for it. But post up links to any mashups or the acapellas for current or old cheese working well on the dancefloors. I'll start with a decent job of William's - This Is Love acapella http://soundcloud.com/dj-dradmir2/will-i-am-feat-eva-simons-this
  3. Hahaha success!
  4. Or put together an adjf user produced track megamix Only if you make the mix Sol Still waiting for my denons!

  6. Yiew!
  7. And not a single beat was matched Haha nah looks sick man pretty keen to have a play on one.
  8. Cant say i recognise alot of the lineup, jamie lyn from memory is a chick dj? Has played at candys i think, whats the genre of the cruise? I think i might be djing that night but the cruise looks good.
  9. Yeah was going to say a big flyer would be ace! Are you playing on the cruise man?
  10. Grab the free home edition of virtual dj that does a pretty good job of key reading.
  11. Very nice, quality electro, tight mixing, solid all round.
  12. Exactly the reason i stopped listening to and djing hip hop. Still cheers for the site, it will come in handy when i occasionally get forced to play hip hop MAN there is SOOOO much good real underground shit out there, come back to the phat side!!!! I know it's just hard to find quality stuff, and you cant play it because people dont hear pitbul and neyo etc on them. Even the more commercial rap used to be pretty good, but these days its sad times. Feel free to link some cool shit though!
  13. Whats the benefit of that though? More room dude, can put your i/o, mixer settings etc and library on one side then have your project on the other.
  14. EDIT Ended up being a fair bit out of key, do you know about/understand keys and harmonic relationships? It basically means the tones of tracks match, heaps of djs use the technique for mixing, and its necessary for bootlegs to make mash ups sound awesome. I still made it with the positioning of the vocals taken from the till tonight original, you will get the idea but it still sounds off because of the key conflict. If you have the money man definitley invest in Mixed In Key, other programs like Rekordbox and virtual dj can give you keys but not as accurately. http://www35.zippyshare.com/v/42057137/file.html
  15. Yes sorry some people will find the review useful no doubt, dont let us stop you from reviews sol, just discussing it and found them horrible headphones when i tried them at jb, went another pair of sennys.
  16. They are in a completely different league to 25s. These are epilepsy inducing coloured, peasant appealing, hang around your neck whilst walking down the road, swag/yolo fagget rubbish. If you were to use these in a club you would be as bad as the guys who use dr dre beats, only the poor mans version. Dont get me wrong they have a place and a suitable market, but djing is not one of them.
  17. Agreeing with alot of what addi said. Still for a first mash up is head and shoulders above what alot of people dish out when they begin. The placement and syncing of vocals can be quite tricky to get good at. Structure wise they sound fine but as addi said a couple of beats out of postion, a good tip would be to load the till tonight original in whatever program you use just above the wanker song to see where to start it. If you can link me to the wanker track ill whip up an example i have the till tonight acapella. But yeah overall very good, might be a touch out of key but that could also just be making sound out due to the placement.
  18. Sennheiser > this rubbish.
  19. Exactly the reason i stopped listening to and djing hip hop. Still cheers for the site, it will come in handy when i occasionally get forced to play hip hop
  20. Wouldnt hurt to go under that at the pub but wouldnt be taking that into clubs really
  21. Rl grime, baauer, salva, diplo are all pretty prominent artists atm. Go look them and their dj sets up to find tracks
  22. Great post, consider mobility of anything you get and where you are going to store it or have it set up, a big cdj and mixer setup might not be feasible. Really can't beat controllers to get into djing though, so many options on various price levels.
  23. That's what your mum said
  24. Yeah for sure the current build has essentially been around for ages now hasnt it.
