your right..... $340 when I picked up my ddj sp1...thay said it was $750...that was 4 weeks ago $340...is very good + $150....all up $500 makes me want one..

DONT DO IT.....The price for the sb is $800 + another $200 for the upgrade to serato dj from serato intro get a ddj sx is only another 200 more for a way,way better midi controller

I'm loving serato dj 1.5.2 with my Numark NS7 and the ddjsp1 serato dj 1.6 beta is out for all to test.....1.6 beta brings DVS time code vinyl to serato dj with rane hardware my sl2, and denon midi are going to get a work out also M.E 2.4 beta is out now ....2.4 brings dope video plug-in to serato dj...not just scratch live

yes....all you need is a audio interface [ sound card ] with 6 pin midi input and midi output.... or a 6 pin midi to usb interface and a good audio interface [ sound card ] if your usb midi keyboard , like my edirol pcr 500 has midi-merge ....you can plug the djm 700 str8 to the keyboard ableton will see and use more than one midi device at the same time Ijust need to know what you would like to do , ...and how you would like to play ableton in your sets before I give more info like....if you had a audio interface with 6 pin midi inputs and midi outputs....you can bpm sync midi clock ...so any audio tracks you play on the djm 700 can be sync by the midi clock and sequences [play in time ] with ableton PS... you might be in luck too... as I might sell a good usb midi keyboard and audio interface soon cheep

part 2...off the serato video into vj software midi mapping mc808 to control vj software and how use the serato video ,with a video clip/loop and 3 camera's switching how I use the video loop to hide the blue screen dropout when I switch from say a video camera to a VGA or HDMI in put camera to camera is ok ...but camera to VGA is not good ....so this is what my work around looks like

its 2 A.M............. I'm up all night midi map my roland mc808 to cellDNA vj software....for the audio and video sampling its looking dope from what I have tested got the 8 faders ,midi map to the 8 video EFX in cellDNA....on the 808 fader bank 1... on fader bank 2, one off the faders is map to the crossfader [crossfading the serato video feed with the video sampling ] I'm up to mapping the 5th button bank....on the 808 you have 16 buttons bank...each bank has 16 midi trigger pads you can map to lots of button/pads you can map so I have mapped 64 pads [so far ] for video loops to trigger with the audio you trigger by hitting the pad from the sampler in the 808 I will do a update video, so I can show you the video sampling and the serato video together ......off to bed now

To me the mc505 and the rmx1 was the groove box,s that started it all....yes.. the mc 303 came out before the 505 ....but the 505 was way better , better sound and easy to use If you can get it for under 250 ...it would be ok.....but if I was you I would look at a Roland sonic cell or midi map your mpc 2500 to control the remix decks in traktor scratch or the Roland mc 909

I love mixvibes software...... I have been a user of mixvibes Dvs and cross for over 6 years I have been in the private beta tester team for 3 years To me the way that mixvibes do it there own way is the best thing about the software They don't try to copy other software ....and listen to what the user would like to see in the update...but still try to keep the software as clean and simply as They can If any one would like some info about the software from a user ...I would be happy to help
