  1. ohh haha hey man. well what I said still is relevant. I can try and think of some ppl to get work. But yeah, do what I said man. Helps so much more if your producing as well.
  2. this intruiges me.. please make a seperate thread about this like how to tune in etc etc etc...give us the low down yo It will be on SYN FM, at the end of this month. I've basically got the confimation, just need to touch base once more and get the ball rolling
  3. I'd like you to talk better on TV, than how you talk on here.
  4. ^rep+ him kind sir
  5. K man. Melbourne is a hard scene to break into. No promoter is going to be interested in you, firstly for your lack of experience and your lack of connections. In Melbourne, especially, it's who you know. My advice to you is that you try and get work at pubs that play dance at night times. Go to clubs, meet the staff, meet the DJs, meet the engineers there. Become friends with them and try and get some work that way. But remember, by geting work somewhere, you're probably taking someone elses, so be careful. This is why I have stayed away from the clubscene, its a popularity contest and some DJs have only the bare minimum skills and are only in it for drugs and a root. When I start my radio show at the end of this month, I'd be happy to try and get you in for a guest mix or something and if you produce, even better, Hope this helps.
  6. yeah that happens to me everytime. i ussually have navigate somewhere else on the site, then nav back. but ussually i stay logged on, so its not a problem
  7. i dont think vdj runs as a dvs. thats the stupid thing. serato, traktor and live are king and it will remain that way. vdj is for kids. u made the right choice skank

    a question

hmm. depends on the stature of the station. if its a pretty big station then best to get in w a presenter allready working there. or volunteer there n work ur way up. if its a small station, just ring, they will guide u from there. just b upfront, always say u want to volunteer. money is scarce in small time/community radio
  9. basically when me, tomy etc want to remind everyone of our/a radio show, we can. talk about anything specific about radio etc. same goes w news. i think we need a lot more dj/production related news on the site, saves us from going to ITM or other sites and guarantees traffic, everyday. id be happy to update daily w any news thats available
  10. wasnt him man, it was someone else. I figure its one of the guys that commented on his youtube page saying they would market him in AUS, as best they could
  11. Why don't we have one called 'The Media' or something? Have in it, boards like Radio, Television/Video, News etc?? That way we can go to the one spot for news, which we need more of IMO and Radio show information.
  12. AHh i got it working. Absoloutely awesome you tube page!! I've never seen anything like it! He must be a web/flash designer turned Producer or something
  13. yeah, its strange. A few ppl have been doing it lately, just behind in the times I guess

  16. my god this audio needs mastering like never before. I'm pretty confused by this whole thread: what's with the video? Why does she say "t-t-t-tumor!!"??
  17. broken link. and what, he cant advertise himself?
  18. I'm from Melbourne, so theres a DJ if you want it But I also know a few decent Melbourne DJ as well, mainly the regulars at Wah Wah. You'll have to provide more details though man.

  20. Off topic but Fuze Digital, is English not your native language? Or are you just a lazy typer?
  21. Where I come from, Bendigo, the 2am lockout works well. People get used to it and it hasn't caused too many problems. It's good because when they have the correct amount of security and police, drunk and forgetful people are forced to go home. It didnt work in melbourne though. I think it only works in smaller locations
  22. in my belly!
  23. Progressive - Slowly progressive melody, more lower freq and minor keys, slower tempo. House - Natural intruments like trumpet piano etc. Electro - Synthetic instruments. ^very basic breakdown. You'll learn it soon enough mate and there is no set rules on what genre a song is. You'll quickly find that no DJ particularly cares to much
  24. cool, ill play it on my radio show when you dp
  25. yes i dig, very nice man. you can definetily go somewhere with this. Give it a full length intro and send it my way
