  6. Awesome article I just found on Burial, Im sure there are some fans on here somewhere http://rougesfoam.blogspot.com/2009/12/ ... er-vs.html
  7. You only bought your first album three years ago!?!?!
  8. I think that anyone with technics are going to be extremely biased, there are better turntables out there, and now the technics reign is over...... rejoice!
  9. I'm gonna say stantons.
  10. I guess I should have added some teefing to the end of that statement ey? It wasn't a genuine stab at you, just some jovial commentary. I avoid compressed music like the plague, hence why I buy and will always buy records. I dont care what people buy, thats their deal, but I can honestly hear the difference, when you consider a full resolution file can be 3000 kb/s+ and and mp3 is 320 kb/s, thats a lot of discarded data, and with the wonder of destructive compression is that most people cant hear so more power to them I guess. I've been a musician for over 10 years and i have no problem composing music in an acoustic realm, the reason I choose to work in a box is because the things I want to create would be an impossibility with "real" instrumements, so I have no shame in using software.
  11. SHAAAAMMMEEEEEE ON YOOOOOOUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im disgusted.
  12. head to record store man, just off oxford street, great peeps.
  13. Four Tet shreds on it.
  14. Yep, 8" is generally to big for most peoples bedrooms. Id recommend hsm50s, extremely flat frequency response, which is ideal once you get used to them. Behringers are... meh, in my opinion, but you wont really get anything better.
  15. 5.25" is a pretty odd size for a monitor, and behringer are shit house for actual sound monitoring. What do you want them for?
  16. how the hell did that fan even fit in there??!
  17. :safe: :safe: :safe: :safe: :safe: :safe:
  18. This sentence right here seriously puts him on another world of hate for. How can anyone with their head on straight make a statement like that when England is producing some of the most forward thinking bass music in the world! You know whats tired?? Mid range wobble
  19. pretentious douchebag says what?
  20. I think I listened to this the other day, its got the hardcore breakdown kick pattern right? Well that appealed to me, I like that. I think I remember some pretty good bass work too, but my brain isn't functioning too well right now
  21. yeah its been up for ages. I honestly cant remember a day when I didn't go on this site.... So amazing!
  22. CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAHH!!!!! Craig David is the man. For now, check out my post in the dubstep videos sticky at the top, kind of a brief flawed history of the progression of the sound. I think its very important to know where something came from if you want to know where its future is. If you dig anything from that post, let me know and I can point you in the right direction as far as artists to check out.
  23. Alright, decision has been made. Between reading that and an article on skratchwox I've decided to go with M44Gs. Not going with with 447s cause apparently they get a bit harsh on a big system, and have a slightly higher tendancy to wear records than the 44Gs. Oh and they're cheap as shit Thanks for yalls help
  24. nice one mayne, shall check it oot.
