yea I edited some code in phpbb2 before it was converted to phpbb3 and it's fucking difficult to make it say automatically 'edited by USER at WHATEVER TIME' so I don't give a fuck anymore I just tried to fix it for about an hour

It was to stop retardation to earlier posts. The other option is to allow edits but have a message saying 'edited by at XX time etc' Also, nek time just wait for an admin to answer, it'll save you time and brain cells
