Aaron Marz has a knack for creating this beautiful ambiance within his own music. You may have heard some of his work remixing the Coldplay classic, “In My Place”, or the DJ Snake x Justin Bieber smash, “Let Me Love You”, that each earned him thousands of plays. His latest single goes by the title, “Lost”, and features the incredible vocals of Davis Mallory, who helps flip this progressive house track into a anthem reminiscent of what you may hear in a Axwell or Ingrosso set, something that would rock the main stage at festivals like Ultra and Tomorrowland. It’s fueled with an encouraging message that can’t help but fill you with hope and reassurance about life your purpose. It’s a message that will translate to any soul all across the world, and so beautifully done by both Aaron Marz and Davis Mallory. Stream “Lost” below! This article was first published on Your EDM. Ty Dolla $ign was arrested on his way to a concert in Atlanta yesterday for alleged possession of cocaine and marijuana — but he wasn’t the only celeb there. The body cam footage released by police reveals Skrillex was with him, too. Offers apparently caught a whiff of weed, which led them straight to the vehicle and a drug dog was called in to investigate. The video footage below, obtained by TMZ, documents how the search and arrest all played out. Neither Skrillex or Ty had any illegal substances on them, but the vehicle was another story. Ultimately, the video below shows the rapper being put in cuffs just hours before his headlining show. Skrillex was not taking into custody. Ty’s attorney, Drew Findling, spoke to Channel 2 Action News: “He had no drugs on his person at all. Apparently, there was a small amount of some drug found in the car and they let five people walk away. And they let the international superstar go into custody.” Ty Dolla $ign is out on a $6,000 bond and due back in court on September 20th. Landing a little while after the original single is a vibey remix package of ‘Down Easy’ by Showtek and MOTi. Out today via Universal Music Germany is a set of three remakes, which also feature the vocals of Starley and Wyclef Jean. One of the edits is a club mix from Showtek themselves, who present a seriously striking addition to the collection. Drawing on dynamic melodies and long builds whilst carving out some quick-paced, sizzling beats for good measure, it’s certainly the kind of track that will bring dance floors to life. You can listen to the premiere of this remix on the link below, and be sure to pick up the remix EP here. This article was first published on Your EDM. Just hours ago, Hardwell made the sudden and shocking announcement that he’d be taking an indefinite leave from live performances, telling fans, “I have decided to clear my schedule indefinitely to be completely liberated from targets, interviews, deadlines, release dates, etc.” While most of the EDM community has taken this positively and in support of mental, physical and emotional health, deadmau5 simply couldn’t resist throwing a small troll Hardwell’s way. oh hi guys, quick note here, just letting you guys know that i've stopped what im doing so that i can do what im doing anyway. thanks for your support. — Goat lord (@deadmau5) September 7, 2018 However, deadmau5 has kept the troll going with replies on Twitter, maintaining that the tweet has nothing to do with Hardwell and it’s just about himself. what the actual fuck does this have to do with fucking hardwell of all people? — Goat lord (@deadmau5) September 7, 2018 Deadmau5’s tweet came 42 minutes after Hardwell’s, and the similarity in content makes it hard to believe that he’s doing anything other than trolling. im sitting here debating on letting the cat into the studio or not, shes sitting there meowing her face off at the door but i dont want her to climb all over the console… thanks for your support on this matter https://t.co/L3diLCCdaD — Goat lord (@deadmau5) September 7, 2018 This article was first published on Your EDM. With his unique sound, Fytch has quickly become a favorite of mine in 2018. From discovering “Sirens Over Paris” to following his new tracks like his remix of “The Future” and his collaboration with Rezz on “Toxin,” I’ve come to consider Fytch a special artist. Today, he reveals his newest song “Saltwater,” which I’m honored to premiere here on Your EDM. “Saltwater” has all the markings of a classic Fytch tune: distorted, melodic bass notes; modulated, original vocals; and characteristically unique percussion and string elements. While stylistically “Saltwater” is nothing new for Fytch, it’s him doing what he does best and giving fans another favorite song to put in their playlist. Check out “Saltwater” below! Though not yet at the numbers pushed by “Emily” or “Out of Love,” Two Friends’ newest song “Bandaid” has become a major hit for the duo as the continue to soldier on through tours and new music. Today, they’ve shared a new remix of the hit from Bad Color that takes the pop hit and adds just a bit more EDM flavor to it. The original is pretty slow for most of the song, playing out more like a ballad than a song to get down to on the dance floor. There are also relatively few elements going into the song, which helps to keep it from being over-encumbered. In contrast, Bad Color picks the tempo up a little bit and introduces some flourish in the drop in the form of more synths and a cute little arpeggio. Ironically, the Bad Color remix sounds a lot like how we would have imagined “Bandaid” to sound if Two Friends had produced it last year. Check it out below! Wow… I don’t think anyone saw this coming. Hardwell, one of the titans of EDM, has officially announced that he will no longer be touring. “Being Hardwell 24/7 leaves too little energy, love, creativity and attention for my life as a normal person to do so,” he writes in a statement. “This is why I have decided to clear my schedule indefinitely to be completely liberated from targets, interviews, deadlines, release dates, etc.” As shocking as this is, a DJ putting their health above their tour schedule is nothing short of admirable. This move reminds of Avicii’s decision to step back from the live side of things. Hardwell will continue to make music, but for now his focus is on himself. The global DJ doesn’t totally rule out the possibility of a return. In fact, his “sincerest hope is that we will be able to continue this journey together.” “I want to come back stronger than ever,” he continues, “but for now, I’m just going to be me for a while.” Little did anyone know, his touring career as we know it ended yesterday in Ibiza on September 6th, 2018. He says he went out with a bang! Read Hardwell’s full letter to fans below. Hardwell’s Statement This article was first published on Your EDM. Freddy Todd seems to be in the sort of sweet spot bubble of dubstep producers who are known for popular style but can also do what they want. This comes, in part, from Todd’s being signed to Liquid Stranger’s WAKAAN imprint but he also seems to have a healthy “fuck ‘em” attitude to start with when it comes to the music he wants to make. Todd’s style is both raw and highly stylized, borrowing heavily from experimental jazz, hip hop and R&B to work both the musicality and beat structure of his tracks. With his new EP on WAKAAN called Chrondor, Todd really pushed the limits, both of dubstep and his own style. With lots of Hudson Mohawke-style synth licks and bass and sub bass to match, there’s a heavy element of funk added to dubstep and halftime beats, so bar to bar the listener really doesn’t know what’s coming next. It’s out there, and it seems Todd and every other true bass music fan are loving every minute of it. With a bunch of projects coming up, including some chill vibe solo releases, lots of WAKAAN and non-WAK collabs, Your EDM thought it would be a good time to sit down with Mr. Todd and learn all we could about his unique style and said collabs. Turns out he’s just as fun and loose as his tracks, and he gave lots of insight into the processes and influences that created Chrondor. How did you come to work with WAKAAN? What made you feel like they were suited for your style? I came to work with WAKAAN when I was seeking new avenues to release my music. They were in their infancy, and being best buds with Space Jesus, one of the top dons at WAKAAN along with Liquid Stranger, it was a no brainer! Weird bass community of envelope pushing free form psychedelic bangers is pretty much what I’m about. Your work on the Chrondor incorporates melody in a very unconventional way, allowing the beats to go against the grain of the melody. How tricky is it to put these elements together like this? The trick is, 20 years of meditating under the sultan’s rock, studying with 13 slime-filled salamanders for four years, two years of breathing through a straw in a custom LED-filled authentic sarcophagus, followed by a 2 minute glimpse through the portal they call the “total eclipse”, topped with a heavy twenty gallon drum of Shulgin’s very own self-synthesized LSD-25. Not to get too technical, but that’s about it. What interests you in playing with melody and beat in this way? I think what interests me in playing with melody and beat in that way is how I came to learn music: drums and percussion first as a baby, taught drum set and guitar by my dad as a young lad, followed by two years of piano lessons in second grade, followed by percussion in middle and high school band, followed by drum set with handfuls of Detroit bands, followed by getting frustrated with writing with five people from behind a drum set leading to learning production and translating it all to midi and a piano roll on a computer and melding it all together to become my self-actualized me. The video for the EP’s lead single “Chrondor Crunkedelia” just came out and it’s about as fun and trippy as the track itself. Who helped you come up with the video’s concept, and what did you want it to reflect about the track? It was all Pipus, our boy Harley Kola, who made the 3D visual assets, and I. Mostly Pipus though, as vision director, to come up with and edit the whole thing. We basically just spent a day in his green screen studio in Philly after I played a show there and filmed with his buddy who fixed up my tat. We basically just made the theme about my 8bit Mandelbrot fractal tattoo which I’ve been touting as a logo and which Harley turned into a space ship, which is seen throughout the video. One artist who comes to mind listening to this EP is Hudson Mohawke, but taken to kind of an insane level. Are you looking to take that sort of experimental R&B tradition to another level, or is this style just what you were feeling for this EP? Heck yeah! Love Hudson and love taking experimental R&B further, in fact I just wrote a super jazzy R&B jawn with some of my own vocals harmonizing and the like. Super stoked on the future. Just gotta keep working hard so I can buy more instruments! Do you see your style as more experimental, as in are you a tinkerer with sound, or do you think you’re out for it to work on the dancefloor as well? I definitely see myself as experimental, have always been a super fan of the Aphex Twins and Squarepushers and Autechres and the like but after almost ten years of doing this and touring with killers like Griz, Space Jesus, and Liquid Stranger, how could you not want to have absolute fun with the dance floor? I’m just having fun out here. So that’s where it becomes fun to meld the worlds. What kinds of ideas do you have for your next releases? Are you trying to push your sound even further or do you want to go in a totally different direction? The next release is almost already written and it bangs! I am going full throttle with this one baby. It is super experimental but also dabbling back into traditional funk stuff while really focusing on bass music. It’s gonna be a fun one. I’m hyped. Definitely pushing my sound even further because whatever I do, it’s me. That’s the beauty of calling your project your own name, Freddy Todd (real name is Fred Todd, Freddy for long), it’s always me, I’m pretty transparent, and I’m here for a good time not a long time. Are you planning on playing any shows or touring soon? Yes! Shows up the wazoo. My agent Tynan at Madison House is awesome and we’ve been crushing it. Most notably, I have a fall tour with my boy kLL sMTH who was actually featured on the Chrondor EP coming up very soon. Any more releases or collabs in the immediate future that you can discuss? Heck yeah! I’ll tell you everything because I have nothing to hide and I’m excited. The Guccimen (Space Jesus and Freddy Todd) official remixes which is a monster remix album where all proceeds go to charity is coming out around Thanksgiving, plus we are working on new original tunes. I’ve also got a fusion hip hop EP called Uneaux Momenteaux with my rapper friend NOTE. You can get a taste of two different tracks of ours off my Moonflavours Vol. I album on my Bandcamp, and off of WAKAAN’s ‘Meanwhile…’ compilation. On top of those, I have a collab with Liquid Stranger, a collab or two with Esseks, one with Of The Trees, ‘Moonflavours Vol. II,’ which is my chiller b-side type rainy day tunes, and the next Freddy Todd EP, probably another five-tracker of original smashers Any other videos in the works for this EP? Pipus and I actually already filmed a music video for “Won’t Make It” a year or so ago but it’s too old for both of us so we were going to re-film it in the woods a few days ago but we ended up shooting for our series “Detective Cases” and a handful of his series instead, so we have a sneak peak of that project with our friend Esiris Quetzatl. Chrondor by Freddy Todd is out now on WAKAAN. It can be streamed on Spotify and Soundcloud or purchased on Beatport. Keep an eye on WAKAAN for more releases from Todd coming up soon. While there are plenty of artists to look forward to seeing at Lost Lands, the festival starts at 1pm and ends at 12:30am each day, not counting the sound camps. That’s a lot of hours of music, and maybe you just can’t find it in yourself to keep going after night 2 or night 3. Thankfully, there are more options than just going back to your tent and trying to sleep while you hear the thumping bass off in the distance. This year, the main stage will close each night after the final set with one of the Jurassic Park movies – fitting, no? Night one will play the original Jurassic Park. Night two will play its sequel, The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Night three will play… you guessed it, Jurassic Park III. For a festival like Lost Lands that leans so heavily into its theme, we can’t think of a better way to embody the wonder of dinosaurs than to play these movies on the true big screen with thousands of ravers who are probably too tired to stand. Will you be singing along to the Jurassic Park theme, or will you be raging at the sound camps? It’s up to you! Photo via Rukes.com This article was first published on Your EDM. ZHU is easily one of dance music’s most enigmatic producers and performers, breaking onto the scene in 2015 with veiled mystery and an identity everyone was dying to know. Over the years, he quietly began to come out of hiding, letting his music speak for itself and shedding the protection of anonymity in favor of community. With his second LP due out tomorrow (not counting Genesis Series), ZHU headed out to the desert to treat a select number of fans to an intimate three-hour BLACKLIZT performance at Joshua Tree. The entire three-hour performance has now been uploaded to YouTube for your listening pleasure. Note that this is a BLACKLIZT performance, so the tracklist skews a bit more toward house and techno than his usual live sets, but it’s nonetheless an enthralling performance worthy of watching. Check it all out below (see tracklist here) and prepare for RINGOS DESERT tonight at 12am EST. This article was first published on Your EDM. Nearly two weeks ago, Bro Safari and UFO! unveiled Part 1 of their Clockwork album with “N.U.M.B,” “Inaccessible,” and “Break The Curse.” Tomorrow, they’re back with Part 2, featuring “ET Finger” and “WAMF.” For those of you inpatient to hear Part 2, you’re in luck – we’ve got the premiere of “WAMF” here today. Put simply, “WAMF” is one of the fiercest trap tunes we’ve heard in a hot minute, with wildly distorted synths and a pounding rhythm that pushes the song along with intense determination. It switches up about halfway through into a similarly vicious, but differently tempoed, trap drop that takes on more of an orchestral and melodic signature. Check out “WAMF” and “ET Finger” when they officially drop tomorrow, but get a taste below right now. This article was first published on Your EDM. Pretty much everyone knows the song “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire. Whether they know it by name or band is up for debate, but when you hear that distinct cadence on “Do you remembah…,” you know it’s on. It seems like RÜFÜS DU SOL may be going in a darker direction for their new album. The dance trio released the third single from their upcoming third album Solace yesterday, titled “Lost in My Mind.” The single comes with all the usual RÜFÜS hallmarks, but with a darker twist. As usual, frontman Tyrone Lindqvist delivers emotive vocals tinged with a hint of heartbreak. However, the production provides a notably darker mood. High pitched synths and a distorted background vocal give a more tragic weight to the lyrics. According to Billboard, the trio wrote the track during a trip to the Joshua Tree National Park in California. The darker twist follows the generally downbeat theme established by previous single “Underwater.” “No Place,” the first single from Solace, hinted at the incoming shift in mood, but still retained the trio’s typical upbeat vibe. Solace is scheduled to release later this fall, so we’re curious if the group releases any additional singles. Listen to “Lost in My Mind” below: This article was first published on Your EDM. The 21st annual Shambhala Music Festival attracted another sold out crowd to the Salmo River Ranch in British Columbia, Canada — as ravers from all over the world camped, danced, and loved in the mountains. Shambhala has blossomed from a grassroots effort into a premier music festival and one of our personal favorite destinations. Looking back on another amazing year, we’re left truly in awe of this place. With six elaborate stages, spaces for yoga and workshops, countless art installations, and a rejuvenating river that runs through, this music festival offers something for everyone and at any given time. Add in one of the most incredible festival communities around and you’re left with an experience that many can only describe as “magical.” It is these magical moments that separate Shambhala from the rest. The moment you hear a few simple howls that cascade into thousands as they move across the campgrounds. Or, the moment you feel the bass of The Village stage vibrate every atom of your being. The moment you lose yourself in the Pagoda stage’s entrancing visual production. And, the moment it’s time to leave and you wonder how to put any of this into words. Maybe it’s easier to break it down by Shambhala’s six stages: AMP, Living Room, Fractal Forest, The Village, The Grove, and the Pagoda. All offer unique environments through carefully-curated lineups and top-notch production that compliment each vibe. Therefore, each stage shapes its own distinct moments to seize. If you haven’t been to Shambhala before, allow us to show you around, stage-by-stage! AMP Photo: Don Idio for Festival Squad One of the first stages to open up on Thursday is the Amphitheater aka the AMP. This is usually the first place one would turn up for the weekend and you can always count on a stacked opening day. (i.e. Pigeon Hole, JVMPKICKS, Digital Ethos, and Born Dirty) The AMP at first glance appears to be the smallest of all the stages, but that moment when you’re standing on the sandy dance floor and it’s packed out from all angles during Skiitour, it feels massive. As the weekend progresses and all stages are running, the AMP is a great host to more intimate shows, like Barcalay Crenshaw‘s Friday night performance. But, as artists like Space Jesus and Whipped Cream throw down into the early hours, that bass hungry mob has potential to grow exponentially with no warning. Night after night, the AMP always gives you a reason to come back. Living Room Photo: Oh Dag Yo The second stage to get acquainted with on Thursday night is the Living Room. With the Salmo river as its backdrop and a series of lounge areas, the Living Room is a welcoming stage. The perfect hangout to beat the heat during the day and to gather yourself at night. Supplemented with an eclectic but soothing lineup, the Living Room provides both relaxing and social moments. Whether you want to take in the music with your eyes closed, float in the river, or share a couch with new friends, it’s always a good time. Moments like a Salmo river recharge during the hottest part of the day. Or, catching the lasers dancing across the tree line at night. Unexpectedly walking into a 29 Palms set in the final hours of the festival as the sun comes up. It’s these things that make the Living Room an essential part of the Shambhala experience. Fractal Forest When the festival fully opens on Friday, you can get your first look at the fun call-backs to early childhood in Fractal Forest. It’s easy to spot Pac Man, Finn and Jake dressed as Han and Chewbacca, and massive heads of Yoda and C3PO in broad daylight. Once the night falls on Fractal Forest the stage becomes an entirely different beast. This is when all the lasers, lights, and UV paint come out to play. You may find your sense of direction spiraling — that’s completely normal. These vibrant moments will have to live in the back of your mind, though, because photography is discouraged here. With an array of funky, wonky, and throwback dance music, this is the perfect nonstop party spot to get lost in for a few hours. It’s easy to surrender to the chaos of the Fractal Forest, especially when you’re getting down to the sounds of Dr. Fresch, Opiuo, Funk Hunters, Skratch Bastid, and Mix Master Mike. The Village Photo: Don Idio for Festival Squad Once you manage to traverse through Fractal Forest, you will start to hear rumbles from The Village stage. As you pass under the catwalks and platforms that surround it, The Village suddenly bursts into plain sight and absorbs you more and more with each step you take. Carefully carved woodwork and beaming light panels form the architecture, while suspended orbs of lights hang from a half geo-dome. Vines drape across most things, indicating a symbiosis of nature. And, the stage and the sheer power of PK speakers give the impression that The Village is a force of nature in itself. To stand in the center of The Village as the bass hits, pulses your body, and the ground below you at once is an indescribable feeling. Whether the music is coming direct from Stylust, Camo & Krooked, The Glitch Mob, or man behind the Village, Subvert — that’s the moment you realize The Village stage acts as the beating heart of Shambhala and its people. The Grove Photo: James Coletta For those that prefer less thunderous and more soothing bass, The Grove stage is just a short walk away. Entering the calm, meditative atmosphere is a blissful change of pace, as giant dreamcatchers hang from the trees and cool tones of light guide your eyes to the action Every performance at The Grove seems to exist in a dreamlike state. The main structure provides an area for impressive aerialists and dancers to be showcased — and plenty of space for your imagination to run wild. Moments like watching a ribbon dancer slowly unwind to the booming beats of Clams Casino make you pinch yourself. To gaze upon the illuminated cedar trees as acts like Charlesthefirst and Goopsteppa guide you through a seemingly lucid dream is an unparralled experience. Pagoda Photo: Oh Dag Yo Last but certainly not least is the Pagoda stage, which towers over the main hub with lasers that can be seen for miles. Fully mapped projections light up the gorgeous, stark white woodwork and dozens of beams shoot from every tier of the Pagoda. These aesthetics have a way of drawing people in. Those who step onto the Pagoda’s dance floor might even become hypnotized. Again, it’s those moments. Like the crowd going absolutely bananas for Fisher‘s untamed tech house drops as the night creeps in. Like Rezz filling out every inch of habitable space whilst zombifying the crowd with her dark sounds and visuals. Moments like Desctructo‘s sunrise set that keeps ravers bouncing well into the morning. Those are the moments that make the Pagoda one of Shambhala’s most precious treasures. — Each stage on the farm is absolutely crucial and without one, the festival would feel incomplete. Above all else, though, the lifeforce of Shambhala is it’s inhabitants. The exchanges of love, creativity, friendship and character cultivate the culture that defines it. The endless stream of “Happy Shambs” throughout the weekend, embracing the holder of the “Gum for Hugs” totem for a third time, sharing a stump with a stranger in the Fractal Forest and becoming fast friends. These are the moments that have powered Shambhala for 21 years. For those who could not attend or those who wish to relive some of the amazing moments from Shambhala 2018, the recap video is something to behold. Tickets for Shambhala 2019 are on sale now. Grime music seems to be yet another form of electronic music which is bleeding its way across the pond from the UK to the U.S., and wit crossover-style albums like Kid D’s new Authentic Expressions LP, it seems trap-style hop hop is bleeding its way right back. It makes sense, really, as the two styles have a similar tempo and can really compliment each other. On this seminal album, Kid D seems to have taken the best parts of U.S. hip hop and UK grime and put them together with his own style to make tracks with robust snare-heavy, trap style beats but also lots of cinematic grime style music and production. Add in his smooth and versatile vocals, and you’ve got one hell of a unique and punchy LP on your hands. Kid D has released Authentic Expressions on his new 2 Easy Records Imprint, and it’s been featured on the BBC and RinseFM, among others. With such an original record an even more original style and in the face of the current hip hop/grime crossover climate, Your EDM asked Kid D to come up with a playlist of his top five influences. They are unsurprisingly a great mix of grime and hip hop, and the prolific artist gave us some great explanations as to why they’re his favorite. Also be sure to check out the video for his track “Wavin’” below. Timbaland: Man this guy…where to start. Timbaland is a god of sound. To be precise he has always influenced me from the early days when I started producing. He has such a unique sound where you can always tell it’s one of his productions and to me I would say Timbaland has a part in being responsible for the style and flavor which we hear and see in hip hop and R&B today. Alchemist: My reason for choosing Alchemist is because of his pure art which he brought to the table in the 90s. He played a big role in creating a lot of hits and helping a lot of artists develop themselves into something special. His use of samples has always influenced me greatly by the way he chops the right sample to go with the correct instruments in such a smooth manner so I would say Alchemist is definitely in my top five for being such a huge influence to hip hop and myself. Ghetts: Now here we go! My choice for choosing Ghetts in my top five musicians is because of his strong drive, determination and consistency to always deliver powerful and life-changing music to the world, His vocal style to me is very authentic and every track always has meaning whether it is positive or negative, Ghetts created a sound for new MCs to learn off and helped mold the UK grime scene into what it is today. 50 Cent: 50 has always been the guy for me, from the start if his career he has kept the same attitude and hunger for what he believes in, himself. This for me is such a big inspiration as 50 cent has made a huge impact on the world from his music to his films and TV shows. Skepta: Last but not least…Skepta the BBK don. His work rate is crazy and always delivers for his fans. His use of DIY is a big influence because he shows that anything is possible and we can all do it with a bit of hard work and I feel like he has opened doors for a lot of musicians in the UK and U.S.. Kid D’s Authentic Expressions LP is out now and available on Beatport or on the 2 East Records Bandcamp page, where it can also be streamed along with all the releases thus far on the label. The album’s Spotify playlist is listed below. This article was first published on Your EDM. Source: Your EDM Playlist: Kid D Outlines His Five Favorite Artists For ‘Authentic Expression’ Source

The Chainsmokers can switch lanes like it’s nothing. One minute, they’ve gone completely pop and the next they’re putting out a fire trap collab with NGHTMRE. Now, it’s entirely possible that the in-demand duo is getting into some country. We’re serious. Back in 2016, a Twitter exchange between Kelsea Ballerini and The Chainsmokers had people talking. Nearly two years and countless hits later, it seems their hint at a potential collaboration is coming to be. The duo sparked up a new conversation with this… Kelsea you think they're ready? https://t.co/ZXRWnPgLLG — THE CHAINSMOKERS (@TheChainsmokers) September 4, 2018 The country star was quick to respond with what sounds like lyrical wordplay… I’ll tell you a story before it tells itself… https://t.co/FUCUo9K2KM — Kelsea Ballerini (@KelseaBallerini) September 4, 2018 Genres have blurred more than ever and what really matters is straight up musical chemistry. Zedd enlisted in Maren Morris, a powerhouse singer with country roots, to turn his track “The Middle” into one of this year’s biggest hits. Alesso also went country recently, calling upon Florida Georgia Line (who actually also collaborated with The Chainsmokers on “Last Day Alive”). We bet that Kelsea Ballerini and The Chainsmokers have cooked up something worth hearing no matter what it might classify as. The only question is… Are you ready?
