  1. As Markus Schulz gears up for the release of his next album We Are The Light, he’s dropped another song from the album called “Upon My Shoulders,” with help from Sebu Simonian of Los Angeles-based indie pop duo Capital Cities. Between the festival and extended mixes, fans can get a fantastic burst of trance and progressive elements, all with some instantly catchy, sing-along lyrics. “I always wanted to write a song about what I see and feel when I am playing at festivals all around the world in front of thousands of people,” Schulz told Billboard. “The chorus from ‘Upon My Shoulders,’ includes, ‘carrying you upon my shoulders, so you can let go.’ (It) expresses exactly how people feel when they come to festivals, united from all over the world. They come to festivals to live in the moment. They hold up flags representing their country. They hold each other on their shoulders, sing along, dance and are full of positive energy. ‘Upon My Shoulders’ is about them, no matter where they are from, or what genre or nationality. We live united in a world we create for ourselves, and leave all the worries behind.” Uplifting, beautiful, irresistible. Listen to “Upon My Shoulders” below! 2. Nearly 10,000 people will stream into Red Rocks Amphitheater tonight to see Illenium’s live show with Said The Sky, Trivecta, Bass Physics, and Toy Box. It’s going to be an forgettable night to be sure. Illenium just shared a promo video for the night, and those watching closely are sure to see a new, familiar face: KJ Sawka of Pendulum and Destroid. A post from KJ Sawka himself confirms it, he will be joining Illenium’s live band as a new live drummer! It remains to be seen if this is a one-time appearance, but his caption – “Today it begins…” – leads us to believe there’s more on the way. 3. After yesterday’s teasers from HARD Events, the events company has now confirmed that their Halloween-season festival, Day Of The Dead, is officially returning in 2018. Even better, it’s coming back to its original venue at the LA State Historic Park. The festival’s last official iteration was in 2015 at the Pomona Fairplex, the only HARD festival ever to be 21+. While this year’s festival is moving back to its original location, the 21+ age limit remains. Lineup and on-sale info are still on their way, but it’s easy to see that hype around the festival is high. HARD Day of the Dead will be one day, November 3, the weekend following Insomniac Events’ other Halloween festival, Escape: Psycho Circus at the NOS Events Center. Visit their website to keep up-to-date on lineup and sale info. Resurrected in the heart of DTLA, Day of the Dead makes its return to LA State Historic Park November 3, 2018. Celebrate with us as we take it back to our roots in a more intimate setting. 4. One of Ultra‘s mainstay stages will be getting a major upgrade, as the City of Miami looks to add on a hal0-like, solar-powered ring and retractable roof over the Bayfront Park amphitheater. The Miami City Commissioners have given Florida Power & Light the go-ahead to build up the premiere concert venue, known as Klipsch Amphitheater. Not only will the illuminated roof look amazing, it will allow the show to go on even when it’s raining. If all goes according to plan, the additions will be finished in early 2020. Bayfront Park is expected to host more events than any other venue in the city leading up to the Super Bowl, which takes place at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens on Feb. 2, 2020. The company also has plans to install large solar panels and “solar trees” to generate energy across the grid. This should prove to be cost effective and efficient for Bayfront Park. “This is going to be an iconic structure for the city,” Mayor Francis Suarez said of the upgrade. Next month, the City Commission will hold a vote to determine if Ultra Music Festival will stay in Miami’s Bayfront Park. If that answer is yes, which we’re expecting it to be, then Ultra and its attendees will be able to experience the new-and-improved amphitheater as the festival’s famous Live Stage. 5. Earlier this year, Francesca Lombardo dropped the single “Eye Ring” to preview her upcoming album, Life Of Leaf. The single found Lombardo experimenting with a poppier sound, perhaps a sound more fitting for a full album. Fast forward a few months, and Lombardo is remixing herself on the Eye Ring – Dance Remixes EP. She’s also received a little help from some friends. As the name suggests, the EP takes “Eye Ring” into many different, dancier directions. First, Lombardo remixes her own track to fit her patented tech house style. Martin Buttrich, another tech house icon, offers two remixes for the EP, both of which are labeled dubs. Guti teams up with Francesco Tristano for two more remixes, rounding out the EP for a wide variety of tech house styles and sounds. A dance remix EP for a slower, poppier track is nothing new, but the remixes on this EP offer fresh interpretations of Lombardo’s original track. Her new album Life Of Leaf will release in the future. Check out Lombardo’s own remix for “Eye Ring” below: This article was first published on Your EDM. 6. Security at festivals has become a major concern in the past couple years, with many high-profile terror attacks taking the lives of innocent people just looking to have fun. Thankfully, security often results in positive efforts, as we’ve learned about the Sunburn Festival that took place in 2017. In court yesterday, the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) claimed that “five recently arrested sympathisers of the Hindu right-wing group Sanatan Sanstha (it has distanced itself from them and said they are not its members) planned to plant explosives at last year’s edition of Sunburn,” reports Hindustan Times. ATS officials claimed in court that two of the accused – Vaibhav Raut and Sudhanva Gondhalekar – had planned to attack Sunburn Festival because they felt it was “against Hindu culture.” It’s not clear whether ATS was aware of the planned attack before the individuals were arrested. The five men in total are accused of hurling fire bombs outside cinema halls, planning to attack people who they thought were “against the Hindu religion,” and even possibly the murder of a journalist. ATS in their raids claim to have recovered “10 pistols, one air pistol, one country-made revolver, 10 pistol barrels, six pistol bodies, six magazines, three handmade magazines, one half-prepared country-made revolver, and seven hand-made pistols from Gondhalekar.” Story originally appeared in Hindustan Times This article was first published on Your EDM. 7. Having already worked with artists like Duke Dumont and Jax Jones, Kelli-Leigh is undeniably an artist with fire in her soul. Her debut track ‘Do You Wanna Be Loved Like This?’ created a serious stir as her first solo offering, and the London singer/songwriter/producer follows it up with ‘Can’t Dance.’ Out through her own label, we are pleased to premiere its official video today. This powerful, emotive dance tune is reflected in these stunning visuals. Shot across various locations with some incredible dancing, whilst flashing back to Kelli-Leigh singing, it’s an absorbing watch that takes ‘Can’t Dance’ to new heights. Watch it here. 8. This week we had the pleasure of getting to know Nico Santos a little better. An artist responsible for an array of global hits including ‘Rooftop’ and ‘Safe,’ we got to hear about what he’s been up to over the course of the summer. Read on to find out more. Hey, thanks for taking the time to speak to us! If you had to describe your musical style for someone who hadn’t heard your stuff, how would you sum it up? I think that my musical style is a combination of all the genres I’ve been listening to as a child and the ones I’ve been writing for other artists lately. If I had to describe my style it would be urban pop with new-soul. What are some of the most important lessons you’ve learned since you started making music? It sounds super cliché, but it would be to always stay focused and to work hard for what you want for yourself. If you do and you really give everything, you can do whatever you want. Where did it start for you? Do you remember what first got you into wanting to create music? Yes, definitely. It was on my third birthday when my parents got me a Michael Jackson videotape. I got addicted to his music and since that day I knew what I wanted to do. Who or what are you currently really into, music-wise? I listen to everything. Right now I’m really into the album of Bazzi and after I watched the Amy Winehouse documentary I’m listening to her old stuff. But I pretty much listen to the stuff that suits my mood the best. We love ‘Safe,’ and now Deepend has remixed it. Are you a fan of the remake? I love the remix. Falco did a great Job. He captured the best parts of ‘Safe’ with the right approach. I love the drop as well. What was the original idea behind the tune? The idea of the song is basically hoping for that someone to be safe wherever he is. It’s interesting because it can be viewed in so many different situations. Whether it’s someone you’ve lost or someone who moved somewhere else. Where have you particularly enjoyed playing this summer? Have you had a chance to take a holiday and a little break from music as well? I loved many shows this year but I think the greatest show was the biggest one where we supported James Arthur and Macklemore in Hannover. I had a little break in Mallorca with my mates but unfortunately only for 4 days! What’s next for you in 2018 and beyond? My first album is being finalised this week and we’ll release it next month. That’s insane. I’ve been writing for over 2 years now and it will be something different. Many songs are something you wouldn’t expect. This article was first published on Your EDM. 9. Swedish House Mafia are returning in 2019. Swedish House Mafia are returning in 2019. Swedish House Mafia are returning in 2019. There’s no longer any doubt in this sentence, it’s happening, place your bets, sign your checks, let’s go home. But the reunion is a big deal for hundreds of thousands of fans worldwide, and each member of the trio has begun leaning into the hype full tilt with video, photo, and text teasers. Sebastian Ingrosso just posted a video of Swedish House Mafia playing out his own collaboration with David Guetta and Dirty South, “How Soon Is Now.” The song title is made the caption as well, and he also posted the song’s lyrics on his Instagram Story. The idea presumably being, “how soon until Swedish House Mafia is reunited for good.” Check out the high-energy moment below and start saving up! As nice an idea it would have been to turn Avicii’s Hollywood Hills home into a memorial of some sort for the Swedish producer who died this past April, the property has just been sold, sources tell LA Times. The house was sold for $17.5 million, five years after Avicii bought it for $15.5 million. It features six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, spreading out over a little more than 7,000 square feet. It’s not known at this time who purchased the house. This article was first published on Your EDM. Source: Avicii’s Home In The Hollywood Hills Quietly Sells For $17.5 Million Source

To mark the occasion, the producer has unleashed a new merchandise collection, which pays tribute to the tour that wowed audiences everywhere. Here’s what he had to say about the launch of the new line: i wanted to do something commemorating the show visuals, so i dug into our archives and found a lot of the sketches from the very early development of the worlds live visuals (as well as concepts for music videos of songs played in worlds live). so in honor of the 4th anniversary of the first worlds live show (which is today), here’s our line of worlds live sketches merch! 12. HARD Events was founded by Gary Richards, aka Destructo, in 2007, with the very first Hard Summer Music Festival held on July 19, 2008 in Downtown Los Angeles at the Shrine Exposition Hall. Since then, the brand has grown exponentially, often switching venues, and now under complete control of Insomniac Events. In 2012, HARD debuted a new festival for Halloween called Day Of The Dead, which featured Justice (Live), Knife Party, and Major Lazer among more on its debut lineup. The festival was moved to the Pomona Fairplex following the LA State Historic park in 2014. After two attendees died at HARD Summer at the Fairplex in 2015, that year’s Day Of The Dead was made to be 21+ to enforce a more mature crowd. That was the last time that Day Of The Dead was held by HARD Events. Now, teasers on HARD’s social pages paint a return of the festival, possibly by the name “Dia de los Muertos,” which, of course, translates to “Day of the Dead.” Images of cut outs of past events, attendees, lineups and more have so far been split into 5 images, in what we can only guess is teasing the return of the Halloween festival. The teasers began yesterday with three images, and two so far today; we expect the sixth and final image to be posted soon with a full announcement to follow soon thereafter. It must be noted that Insomniac, which now owns and operates HARD, already runs a Halloween festival in southern California, Escape: Psycho Circus. If they are bringing back HARD for Halloween, it will be interesting to see how the lineup will be affected by its own, other event. Additionally, EDM fans in California would have to choose between the two festivals, thereby possibly reducing ticket sales for each. We’ll know more once the final image is revealed, so stay tuned. 13. Razat has passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer — another talented artist gone way too soon at the age of just 31. Real name Baltazar Gallego, the music producer was best known for his inventive sound which broke rules and defied genres. He was one of the most versatile Portuguese producers out there, having experimented with various styles including drum & bass, trip hop, dubstep, breaks, electro, trap and beyond. Razat had been producing and spinning all sorts of bass-driven music since 2009. The producer died this past Saturday due to his prolonged illness. According to reports, he was surrounded by family and friends. RIP. This article was first published on Your EDM. Source: Bass Producer Razat Dies After Long Battle with Cancer Source

Billboard Dance details the new partnership between UMG’s label and Shots Studios, the LA-based company Alesso is currently signed with. YouTube star Lele Pons has also linked up with 10:22 pm as a result of this shift. Soon, Alesso will release his inaugural track on the label, as “Remedy” featuring Conor Maynard is set to drop this Friday. With this, a new music video. “I always strive to create music that feels a year ahead, and ‘Remedy’ sounds like 2019 already to me,” Alesso says. “So launching the track and creating future progressive music, with such a progressive team is a perfect fit for me.” Execs at Shots Studios describe Alesso’s work as “emotional, beautiful, and timeless” and “an experience unlike anything else.” We can’t wait to hear what the future holds for his next release and beyond. 15. With Manchester Pride and Creamfields Festival both having taken place this past weekend, hundreds of thousands of people in the UK have had an opportunity to have fun and, if they’ve been so inclined, to partake in some substances like MDMA. However, these festivals and scientists from The Manchester Drug Analysis & Knowledge Exchange have issued warnings to attendees and revelers to be cautious. These scientists discovered the the chemical MMMP at both festivals being sold as MDMA. The substance also known as photoinitator and is normally used in the production of inks and in colored coatings. Dr Oliver Sutcliffe from MANDRAKE team confirmed “numerous bags” which are being sold as MDMA had been found over the weekend. Not much is known about how MMMP affects humans, but its toxicity to fish and the environment doesn’t exactly bode well for other species. Its similarity to the crystal form of MDMA has organizers wary that festival-goers would mistake it for the party drug and take it without question. As always, if you choose to partake in these kinds of substances, be sure to test it. Testing kits are available from DanceSafe here. This article was first published on Your EDM. 16. Martin Garrix was in the middle of one of his biggest performances of the entire year when he experienced some minor technical difficulties over the weekend. The world-famous producer’s set at Creamfields in the UK was going great up until the moment his mixer stopped working. Drop after drop, the crowd was going wild, hanging on every moment — and then, suddenly, silence. Then, Garrix jumped on the mic to fill fans in on what was happening behind the decks. “My mixer stopped working,” he said. The crowd stayed on top of it, busting into song to keep the energy going. First, with “Whoomp! (There It Is),” but that was short lived as the beat to The White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army” kicked in full force. Garrix handled the situation like the pro he is and then jumped back on the mic. “Ok, the mixer is working again,” he said. The whole interruption lasted only 90 seconds, proving that either Creamfields’ technical team is one of the best at what they do, or that it was just a simple fix! Either way, watch the moment go down below. Martin Garrix’s Mixer Breaks Mid-Set @ Creamfields 2018 Photo via Rukes.com This article was first published on Your EDM. 17. The late early to late ’00s were a really wondrous time for these sort of softer, synth-laden, vocal heavy electronic tracks that were really pushed by bands like LCD Soundsystem, Grizzly Bear, M83, Broken Bells, and the like. By no one’s fault, music simply ended up shifting away from those sounds. Thankfully, they live on in bands that every once in a blue moon resurrect those influences. 3-piece group Jaguar Dreams from Brooklyn just released their new song “Just Life,” which seems to emulate that era of dreamy synth music and bring it into the modern day. Lots of reverb, effects-laden keyboard notes, and indie vocals transport you back to a simpler time, and puts you at peace. The melody is almost like a lullaby I could listen to this on repeat waiting for sleep’s soft embrace. Check out “Just Life” below. This article was first published on Your EDM. 18. Mentha is probably one of the busiest artists in bass music that most U.S. fans have never heard about. As the head of Subaltern Records and the proprietor/resident of the Sub.fm radio show, Mentha is also just opening another label under his own name for even deeper and more experimental dubstep and sound system-style music. With all this on his plate, Mentha never stopped producing, though he hasn’t had a release of his own music in a few years. Chromatic Narrations is the first EP Mentha has released for himself recently, and it’s also the first release on the new Mentha Music imprint. The UK producer set Mentha Music up to represent a different side of dubstep and bass music, and Chromatic Narrations definitely falls in that category. Lashings of drum and bass and trip hop adorn the drum loops, while everything from experimental, progressive melodies to straight up jazz push the tracks into song territory. It’s a surprising release from Mentha on a number of levels, especially if you’re used to the Subaltern Mentha. He’s there for sure in this new release, just a bit more pretty, soulful and sparkly. With brostep trying to poke its way back out of the ground lately for some reason, however, a release like Chromatic Narrations is exactly what the 140 BPM set needs. For those who are just being introduced to Mentha via this EP, definitely check out the rest of his discography for reference and to see just how diverse this bass music visionary is. When Your EDM sat down with him, we asked him about how he got to Chromatic Narrtions, so for current fans and new listeners alike, this is a good look into a bass music renaissance, powered by Mentha. How did you come to produce your specific style of bass music? It’s quite unique and defies a lot of the subgenres. In my teens I played a lot of guitar and before getting into dubstep and bass music I went through many genres like prog rock, metal, acoustic and jazz. This album is the result of those different influences blending together. I tried to bring live instruments and jazz-inspired harmonies and melodies into a dubstep context to create music, which can be fully enjoyed while listened to at home as well as when played in clubs. This EP has a lot of different sounds on it. How did you go about putting it together? Was there a theme you were going for, or did you just have a number of songs you thought would work well together? The main theme for me was to put out melodic bass music that appeals to not just exclusively the dubstep lovers, and to show how this genre can contain a multitude of different sounds and styles under its umbrella. I feel like a lot of people who are not familiar with the genre still get scared at the word “dubstep” because they connect it to the heavier side of the sound, and I felt like this is the best I could do to show that’s not the only thing out there. You’ve taken a bit of time off from releasing yourself to work on the Subaltern label. What was it like to get back in the studio and focus on your own music? How do you feel about where the label is now? I never stopped producing music throughout these years, just been rather quiet about it and mostly kept my tunes for my own and a few friends’ DJ sets. Since a lot of the music I make does not fit the Subaltern sound, the guys – shouts to the Subaltern team: Jobanti, Otz, Matt and Milan – and I decided to release some of my tracks under a new sister label, Mentha Music, which will be focusing on the more melodic side of bass music. How did you come to work with Vale on “Same Spot”? Where did the idea to go so jazz-heavy come from? Big up Vale! He and I are really good friends and enjoy jamming, chilling and spending time together talking about music and various other topics. Especially at the time when I wrote “Same Spot” we used to hang out pretty regularly and with him being the extremely talented trumpet player he is, I asked him to feature on the track and was delighted when he accepted. The way we worked on this tune, which is the way I mostly work when a live performer – including myself – features on my music, is that we wrote some of the melodies together and then Vale had a few runs of free jam across the track. At the end of this process I spent a few more days chopping, mixing and arranging the live takes. How was working with Aphty Khéa on “In My Head”? Was it tricky to merge this very experimental/sound system-style track with her more R&B vox? “In My Head” was a slightly different process, as it started as a remix of one of Apthy Khéa’s compositions under her previous alias. I worked on the stems remixing the original track, a really cool live-band funk-rock song, and added electronic elements, sub bass, some processing and arranged it with a different structure and BPM. We were both very pleased with the result and kept the track for us for a few years until the idea of including it in ‘Chromatic Narrations’ came about. Now that you’re releasing more again, will you still be doing the residency with Sub.fm? Sub.fm has been and still it is one of the mediums that taught me most about dubstep, bass music and the culture around the genres. Shows like BunZer0’s FOB and Syte & Freud’s Kryptik Elementz among others have been a great inspiration for me since my very early days of discovering this sound. This is Subaltern Radio’s fifth consecutive year on the station, and I feel like a part of a deeply passionate international community of DJs and music lovers. I have met and keep meeting a lot of people in these years through the station and will most definitely keep running the show together with friends and fellow Subaltern artists. Do you have any other new releases of your own music coming up? Any collabs? There is a release of my music together with some friends’ remixes in the pipeline, forthcoming on one of my favorite up-and-coming labels, which is going to be announced sometime soon. We have some collabs with Murk and Ziaflow in the making, and there’s a couple of tracks of mine which I’ve been playing a lot throughout the summer and am pretty pleased with. I have a lot of inspiration to hit back the studio after a little summer break so I’m really excited what’s to come in the next few months! What’s the next Subaltern release coming out that you’re really excited about? I am still buzzing from the latest SUBALT016 – Saule & D-Operation Drop EP ‘Gorilla Glue’ which keeps being a pivotal component of my sets. The next release is equally as exciting for me as it features long-time Subaltern resident and good friend of mine Taiko, representing a totally different and more grimy side of the label’s sound. Any tours or shows coming up for you? Taiko, Subtle Mind and I just finished the first Subaltern USA Tour, which has been an incredibly amazing experience and one of the best trips of my life. I feel like it’s going to take me a while to process the past few weeks and I am inspired to get in the studio again so unless some last-minute booking comes in I will take couple months off and focus on production. Having said that there is a show in October in a country in which I’ve never played before, and I am really stoked about it. More details soon! Chromatic Narrations is out now on the new Mentha Music imprint and can be streamed on Spotify or purchased on Bandcamp and Beatport. Subaltern’s releases will still be on their Soundcloud and Beatport, along with the Sub.fm radio show. This article was first published on Your EDM. 21. Just over a month after Demi Lovato was hospitalized for an overdose, her drug dealer has come out to the press. In a reveal to TMZ, Brandon Johnson speaks openly about his personal relationship with Lovato and the hours leading up to her overdose, which was likely triggered by Oxycodone laced with Fentanyl, according to reports. He admits he supplied her strong pills, but claims she knew what she was taking. He says they were hanging out in the early hours of July 24th, smoking the drugs together, and claims when he left her house she was sleeping with no signs of distress. “100%… she knew what she was taking,” Johnson says in the video below. “I disclosed to her that these were not pharmaceutical, they’re after market pills… they’re much stronger. She understood fully. It was unfortunate what happened, but for anyone to think there was any misconception on my behalf is absolutely ridiculous.” Johnson also claims he didn’t know the pills to be laced with anything. “It’s definitely a wake up call for her, and for me, it definitely opens my eyes to the dangers of these drugs. In the wrong hands and in the wrong usage, they can be hurtful. I’m not trying to hurt my friend, she’s a really good friend of mine.” Lovato is currently in a rehab facility seeking help to fight her addiction. 22. It’s still hard to believe that the world lost Chester Bennington more than a year ago. The frontman of Linkin Park took his own life last year after battling with depression, anxiety, and addiction, leaving behind a legacy and a group of fans who still live by his every word. This past weekend, fellow frontman of Linkin Park Mike Shinoda played Reading and Leeds Festivals in the UK, wherein the latter he stopped about a quarter way into his set to address the crowd. “I heard you guys start a chant a little earlier for Chester,” he said. Speaking of continuing to perform following Bennington’s death, Shinoda told those in attendance: “Getting up here and doing this for me is really fulfilling, and it’s really an accomplishment just to kind of get over my own anxiety about doing it again.” Watch the emotional moment below. 23. Everyone has their own opinion as to what the 2018 song of the summer is — but Spotify has probably one of the best gauges for narrowing it down. When it comes to music streaming, these are the top songs of the season, globally and exclusively in the US. This was definitely the summer of Drake. The rapper’s viral hit “In My Feelings” was streamed more than 393 million times between that sweet spot of June 1 through August 20, earning it the number one spot on Spotify’s playlist. He also earned five total tracks on the global playlist, and seven of the most popular songs in the US. Maroon 5‘s “Girls Like You” with Cardi B, “I Like It” by Cardi B featuring Bad Bunny and J Balvin, Juice WRLD‘s “Lucid Dreams” and “SAD!” by XXXTentacion round out the top five global songs of the summer. The positioning flips a bit, and Drake’s “Nice For What” sneaks into the US top five. When it comes to the most-streamed songs, hip hop is king. EDM does work in with Calvin Harris‘ “One Kiss” featuring Dua Lipa and with Tiësto and Dzeko‘s “Jackie Chan” featuring Post Malone and Preme, but it clearly has some catching up to do. 24. Alex Lustig just released his Wave002 EP and we seriously can’t get enough! The 23-year-old, classically trained producer has made a name for himself in the world of hip hop, having worked with French Montana, Young Thug, Machine Gun Kelly, Dizzy Wright, SonReal and more. Now, he’s carving out his own path with lush beats inspired by trap, indie electronic and ambient music — for an irresistible result. “Free Form” glides into unmistakably serene territory through its chilled out groove, perfectly setting the scene for this three-track release. Next up, “Heavenly” is just that, with subtle switch-ups to keep things interesting. Lastly, “Enough” rounds out the EP with dreamlike synths and and angelic vocals from Akacia. 25. Natural Land Camping & Music Festival is set to go down this weekend in Alexander, Arkansas — but there will be some major acts absent from the lineup. First up, the special fireworks closing set from NGHTMRE won’t be popping off as planned, because he won’t be there. Natural Land has confessed that he and some other acts, Arius, Break Science, Bro Safari, EOTO, Downlink, and Must Die!, will not be attending this year “through no faults of their own.” Natural Land doesn’t come out and say exactly what’s going on here, but it sounds like organizers are having trouble affording some of the top-tier acts. In lieu of recent changes, the festival is offering “added benefits” to tickets and lowering rates on all tiers moving forward. Attendees should be on the lookout for an email with additional information. The music festival still boasts 80+ artists, 90+ hours of music, and 1,000+ acres of natural beauty. The 2018 lineup includes 12th Planet, Barely Alive, Crankdat, Virtual Riot, Wuki and many more. Despite all the hiccups, it sounds like this could still be a really good time! More info here.
