  3. If you have to bring your own gear you could probably ask for more cash, just make it out like its a hugggggge effort!
  4. Yeah me too! send me east wing dub! in wav though and im emailing you the things now
  5. To be honest, if its for a formal or a birthday party, i would say no one really case THAT much about how well you mix, (well i mean you cant be terrible, but it wont matter if you wreck a few of them), i would say all you need to do is play all the tunes requested, no matter how utterly shit they may be and keep a few big obvious tunes (eg riverside) at the ready incase things get quite. Aslong as you dont play minimal or trance for 5 hours straight i think it will be a success i would have taken them, good experience and free stuff or money for doing something you enjoy
  6. East Wing Elite for life! that ones sick, i want some trancy synth in there but and oi did you get my message?

Trying to remember what i actually meant by that. I can just enjoy a track, but i often have a reason (to do with the production of it) not just because its catchy ya dig?

Yeah truth, it would apply to pretty much any sort of creative thing. its a 50/50, it would be good to go back to just enjoying a track for no reason at all, but i like analyzing and picking it apart heaps too.
  11. Taken from something another guy said on another forum ( i swear thats all i do) but he has a point do you think now that you produce (if you do) music that you have a new appreciation for songs? or vice versa, you pick apart songs and judge them based on their production values and not if you actually enjoy the song. p.s not saying you have to be or i am a talented produce, i think even beginners start to listen like that, imitation is what i started out doing. i never thought about it like that, but whenever i listen to a song im always trying to figure out how they did this or that, or always trying to dig deeper into it to try and find stuff i haven't noticed before like the other guy said it sounds incredibly pretentious, but im pretty sure for most of us its true. ddddiiiiiiscussss
  12. me's likes the sound of that oh like, are you going to make your own tune from it? I thought it was just a genre name, like 'electro' or something (i hate that one the most)
  13. I imagined something with the same feel as this Electronica? are you going to sample it to produce a tune or mix them in a set? And ps, this guy said that only wankers call anything electronica anymore, when the fuck did that happen?
  14. Dont live in sydney, and i wouldn't call myself a skilled producer by any stretch of the imagination buuuut i have a fuck load of free time on my hands s' like a 30 second clip of a beat i just wipped up then http://www.zshare.net/audio/680607813db2fc3d/

  18. hahaha no i know, im pretty sure everyones cut though, i said il bring mac n cheese and ciggarettes and stuff though. will i be a schoolie or a toolie though? not in school but not old enough to be a toolie? some sort of awkward limbo.
