So all you auto syncers (im talking about the never before has dj'd and my first piece of kit was a lappy and a midi controller auto syncers excl djaz cause he woke up to him self) THIS is why the people that do it the manual way hate auto sync and software. BUT one day i guarantee that YOU the auto syncers out in the world will get pissed off with whatever the future of dj'ing has for us. stuff ive heard, seen read, done by practising my first gig is at the end of this month can i strongly suggest you pick a different topic for your next video and do this topic after your first gig. Reading will only teach you so much, actually doing it in front of a crowd will teach you a shit load more. Then atleast you can reflect back on experiences from your first gig. Maybe just do some reviews of some cd's or whatever gear your using. That way you actually are reviewing something you know a fair bit about....if ya know what i mean.

Shit i have come into this thread late, but soldios.........pioneer is expensive for lots of reasons, not just because they are industry standard its because they put a fuckload of money into research and development and they dont release something until it is extremely reliable (as in doesn't fuck up whilst using it) im not saying that they haven't had problems with firmware before. The reason why you find videos on youtube of pioneers fucking up is because more people use them.....hence more videos. Other company's that make "dj" products generally dont spend as much money researching and developing......or they release something way too early denon is a classic example, when they released the dn-s3700....hybrid mode was a piece of shit, and the layout is a complete cluster fuck in comparison to pioneers. Now im not someone that has used pioneers my whole life, infact i have used pretty much every other brand of cdj's that has ever hit the aussie market after i ditched my vinyl and without a doubt pioneer is superior than the rest (some people would disagree but they just haven't come out of the closet yet). So i would save your penny's soldios and buy some pioneer stuff. And dont go to places like jb hi fi and "test" them like someone else said they have prob had the shit raped out of them by kids. And with any dj equipment money does reflect on quality.... that why you done see people like tiesto or armin van buuren or any pro dj for that matter rocking around with the latest Numark decks..

Good stuff mate, good luck with it all. One piece of advice.....Put that sub on the ground mate. If you're wanting future clients to take you seriously they will want to see that you know which speakers go where for good sound, and if someone see's a sub sitting up on your desk they may query how much you know about how sounds work.
