ive been through what your going through now, i had to sell all my setup to keep my head above water. I sold all of my setup bar my speakers and went cold turkey with no gear or production software for a good 6-8 months, hardest thing ive ever done. If its not your full time job then its a sacrifise you are going to have to make, then when things turn around and your ready to buy again, you get to appreciate it a lot more plus buy all the latest shit (well not really in your case seeing you had 2000s ), which is awesome. i never regretted it, i sat down, made a mature decision and did what i had to do to get by, and now ive just bought a new digital setup (numark NS6 plus st150) and love all the new shit i get with a controller + TT. Controller makes it sooooo easy to pack up and go to a mates place/party/corporate function/dj gig.
