the waveform on 1000's,900's and 2000's does load faster then the track is playing, you should have to rely on the wavform that much as its not that helpfull on cdj1000's keep in mind that that picture is taken on a good song for the wavform, if you were playing something like skrillex the waveform will just be 1 giant block...

Everything fudd said, but the wavform is very similar to your 900's waveform, just on an older screen so it won't look as good

cheers, did a search as well and found the i5 comes in both qaud core and dual core...i3 only dual

this is gonna sound obvious but make sure you have removed the plactiv film that comes over the screen when they are new as it could be a bubble (sounds obvious but sometimes these film/plastic covers are so hard to notice) other then that make sure u keep them out of the sun from a window or anything as direct sunlight can damage any screen eventually
