what you want it samples man, stems are what eggs said, and the artist will most likely have to send you them youtube, sample ableton, and learn how to sample parts of a song for a remix

I say record a mix, burn it to a CD, put in your car, park outside his house, stereo full blast...so he gets the message nah but seriously if the sound guy cant even mix then just show the owner/manger guy that you can and it should be fine as for the resume dude, i think the main reason would be so he can see you have had a steady job and will turn up on time n shit...i meen if you worked at KFC or an accountant or some shit its not going to really matter as previous experience for DJing or anything...

Back to the gig, cue button on the right cdj2000 is almost fucked, every 5 or so presses it will work once ended up used loop in button as cue, had to play semi comerxial stuff, so compromised with electro remix's of top 40 stuff going to bed, work at 7:30 bleh

If it's a great song but the qaulity is averge it's still droppable, YouTube "stereo hearts - gym class hereo's (Dillon Frances remix)" it's just above average qaulity but I'll be dropping it tonight on a 11,000 watt system who gives a fuck it goes off! Fuck I'm drunk :/
